How to Deal With New Barricade Nerfs

For those of you who don't get it, the new meta is two layers of barricades immediately adjacent to each other: an outer ablative layer (that can be repaired in safety from the inner layer, and can 'borrow' sections of the inner layer to fix breaches in the outer layer), and an inner layer right behind it that you shoot and conduct repairs from.

Also, barricades shouldn't be pushed up against/facing each other (unless you've already got a layer in front); there should be a tile of distance between these cade layers; this is to best facilitate slotting in replacement barricades with relative safety and ease (if the barricades are pushed up against each other, you have to flip the cade around after pushing it, while aliens have more avenues to get within melee range of you).

This is already how I was doing my barricades, except with two layers of 2-layer cades. Sandbags are also now even MORE useless than before.

Essentially four barricades in a two tile footprint. All of which can be reached with a blowtorch. This might be a marine buff.....

I already did this when building, because it stops marines from being dumb and standing right on top of the forward barricades. Not much change for me! Not too pleased about the apparent inability for marines to hit a towering beast over a barricade if they're more than two steps away though.

Reminds me of the time in League that they nerfed a champ by removing an item interaction and their winrate rose because of that item actually was awful on them.

Also nice flair thingi. I appreciate the love. Also i always sign - XO Davis, the Kennard isn't normally in there

Nah, this probably isn't intended. 100 bucks it's going to get nerfed in like a week.

If you have the time and metal to spare yes, by all means double layer the cade lines, but first you need to build the ablative and inner layer.
