I'll start off:
PFC

What I see myself as: "Ideal Utility PFC": brings extra supplies to the LZ, brings tons of flares, covers Engineers and Medics and helps drag wounded.

What others probably see me as: that one asshole who keeps bugging the other PFCs to please for the love of god bring a couple of Flare packs instead of a second gun so I'm not the only one who can actually light up the area.

Smartgunner

What I see myself as: The cool guy Smartgunner who does his best to keep the squad together and safe from hostiles. Mitigate the harm that local Lemming Marines that wander off cause.

What others probably see me as: Local lunatic who keeps screaming at marines to watch ye olde flanks, then gets arm ripped off by a Ravager.

When I go CO, I always liked to imagine myself as a brave, honorable and generally dependable leader, the sort of man that instills confidence in his troops, said marines knowing they will be in good hands during the mission ahead.

The sad realities I come to face is I tend to be bravely stupid, over-dramatic to the point of being a background-chewing ham straight out of some Shakespearian play, easily stressed and overworked as I uncontrollably multitask 4 different squads and a tank out of habit, a bit of a pushover who lets marines shit-talk him in his face and does nothing about it, and generally a tad incompetent.

It is painful to say, but I can't deny that I myself am not the most confidant of my abilities as a CO, moreso when I look to the past and realize most of my victories were either dumb luck or my marines doing most of the work without my orders.

I still try, though.

I bring a IMP bag of flares everyround almost every round now, just because of the usual lack of other people doing it.I will flare up up the whole FOB surrounding areas with that bag of flares and ill do with whether im assigned to FOB or not.Im glad the hear others are doing it too.


Most of my character are pricks, hardarsed, strict, the higher the rank, the more strict i become usually.Usually focused on stay alive as much as possible and also completing the primary objective, whilst still being helpful in one way or another, flaring, assisting medics, engineers, other privates etc.


Most of my characters are viewed as hardarsed and strict pricks also, because they are.Ive been called a pussy for not pushing out when i didnt think it was a good idea, called a idiot for pushing when no one else is trying to encourage a push even when its maybe needed.Command staff usually dont like me when im a SSGT/SGT because im screaming at them for supplies and support, screaming at privates to do what they are told.Some think they are traits of a leader.

Its so off and on that it doesnt bother me, but im here to win and survive.I assume thats very apparent.
