Command should be issuing the evac order every round and marines should be holding pods. If you can't hold you evac, ez pz. Hopeless last stands on a ship crashing to a planet is silly.

So your argument in defense of your map that people are complaining about is "don't use it", essentially? It is appropriate we're called Falling Falcons, because that shit doesn't fly for me. The old brigs location worked because it was right next to the hangar where ground-side arrests would be brought up, not to mention survivors, and its proximity to medbay.

Old brig was REALLY GOOD for processing newcomers like survivors right after a trip to medbay. Also lotta crime happens in the hanger like breifing so it was really good for that. Now it's such a pain in the ass to get to brig it's like why bother.

MP population is dead as fuck as far as I've seen. This location prolly ain't helping sadly.

The problem with that is that it doesn't quite make sense for the either to be there. With the brig being connected by a ladder to the CIC, it makes sense. Command and security work hand-in-hand. By putting ladders in either of the spots you mentioned, excluding the problem with space needed, it doesn't quite make sense for either to be where they are.

If you put a ladder from the Tank Bay to the CIC, for example, there is nothing keeping anybody with any access from getting into the command area, unless you make a room like there used to be where it is an antechamber to the CIC, which consumes more space.

By putting a ladder from the Brig to the Weapon and Astronav room, it doesn't really make sense why the two would be connected. The MPs don't need to access that room for anything.

Move brig to where lower engineering is, move lower engineering to SD, all problems fixed

Might actually happen when reactors are reworked into a mechanic, not a nuscience

the brig is so far away from where marines are its not even funny

by the time your done dragging a marine to brig, its been 5 minutes or so; more than enough for marines to deploy

makes capturing multiple perps dumb as hell.

i miss west hangar brig; it was much better
