Now that the mountain of Satchels lying of the floor of prep is gone thanks to backpack preference being fixed, let's talk about prep room.

Share some of the weirdest things you've seen in prep, funny moments with squadmates, some of the most horrific messes, and other prep nonsense.

- As a late cryo full sentry crate in prep about mins after drop. Atleast if you dont use the sentry take the 20 plasteel and 10 metal out of it (19 engineering points right there)
- Skull armor... lots of it lots.
- A empty clean prep the hell no mess no satchel no shotgun box nothing and the game was like 40 in (went back to replace helm)
- Walking past the other prep doors and seeing AP M39 and pistol rounds that I can not take..... me wants!
- Shotgun boxes ALL over the place as if all squadies got shotguns!
- Xeno why hi there I'm naked.... who failed and let it up?

Walking into the prep room and having a CLF Walk up too me, but before you could type: "Ah fuck.." he keeps on walking and out the door I came in from.

Its bewildering when a hostile ERT cuts you a break.

Going AFK for 30 seconds and coming back to myself being trapped in a reinforced glass box, trying to shoot myself out of said box and having the buckshot break all the glass panels except the ones surrounding me.

Entered Bravo prep once to find all the weapon vendors wired to fire gear at you, thank god for the glass dividers, or i'd have died.

I was a bravo spec once, and somehow me and the alpha spec managed to switch, we had both been in each others squad's specs room. the humility when we come across each other in the hallway

a few days ago some bravo and alpha came down southside to charlie prep and straight up stole our Flamer. Being a SL who cares about his squad, I kidnapped the Bravo, stole his headset and kept him hostage in my prep room. Then got the Alpha to ransom him back by giving us the flamer, after which we released the bravo after letting Uriel have a minute or two with him in the cell.

I spawned in as an SG for bravo I think and was IMMEDIATELY murdered In my own prep room. Some dude from another squad managed to get into bravo prep and followed me into my prep room and just knifed the shit out of me before I could react. I was stunned.
Had to a help about getting griefed and get healed.

That's not /THAT/ uncommon. At least if rumors are to be believed.

On a personal note, did see an Alpha engineer blow up the doors to their own prep room once.

In my negligence as a doctor I threw a whole bunch of intel and papers into disposals thinking they were trash scattered on the floor. After getting tased by MPs in the middle of surgery and after explaining the situation to the CMP I was given two options. 10 minutes of brig time, or cleaning up a prep room because I was so eager on cleaning. I chose cleanup duty.

I was assigned to clean up Delta Prep room.

The moment I walked in under supervision of the CMP and the MP, two vendors launched pistols at me. The place looked like a total warzone, as if xenos had been trashing it for the entire round duration. After ten minutes the MPs took pity on me and started helping out. It ended up taking a bit longer than 10 minutes... Just a bit... Yeah...

Tbh sometimes I feel like Delta prep should just be nicknamed "hell" If you want to find loose ammo laying around, empty boxes to block off an entire hallway, guns and knives littered everywhere, Delta prep is the most likely spot to look. Granted, I'm guilty of some of that when I accidentally vend the wrong thing or the empty ammo boxes, but a lot of Deltas seem to be allergic to taking half-filled "handfuls" of shotgun ammo, so you can generally get half a box of buckshot or slugs from simply picking stuff up off the floor on top of the half-filled ammo boxes.

When C4 got released, if you would of click on your satchel/backpack/armor to store it, it would apply the C4 on you WHILE STORING IT.

We had a lot of gibs. Including me. Was fun times.

Since there is no AoE blast when you plant C4 on a mob there's really no use planting C4 on yourself, if I had to suicide I'd shoot myself. And I rather ghost honestly.
BUT. You might convince me to C4 myself with some... RP moves... Y'know...
