Engineer equipment choice that lets them drive around a small recon drone?

Just having that scouting utility would be quite useful, a choice between more supplies or that thing, and leave the user vulnerable while used.
Should be fairly small and fast to avoid getting instakilled by xenos, but still easily destroyable if caught.

Also makes engi more interesting and probably more played.
a way to scout around a little without having to put lives on the line could be quite valuable. additional uses could also be added to it as time goes on, like being able to leash a roller bed to it to let an engi drive casualties out of the field remotely, or carrying a crate to deliver items to people.

Intelligence and the power to stick as a team. Like shit if they used real marine tactics and formations. That would be dope af.

Things like bounding overwatch aren't really possible because you can't see far enough to actually do it, and terrain is often so tight even if you tried, you'd just friendly fire.

personally, I wouldn't mind if there was a tiny bit more variety in marine standard weapons... Like a carbine, or a different type of SMG, or hell, a light machinegun akin to something like a MG-34 or BAR 1918 (AKA, something with a 30-50 round magazine/drum designed to shoot fast and suppress in a defensive role), so that we'd have a bit more diversity in our forces outside of specs and events and maybe even allow for some different tactics and playstyles.

Generally, however, I feel that we'd need more incentives to follow chain of command. As of current, the only benefit of hanging around your NCO is a very brief AoE ability they can dish out that oftentimes you don't even notice. I wouldn't mind if they buffed leadership figures more with something like a constant passive buff instead of a temporary buff (to encourage people to stick around their NCO or other higher up more often), as well as some other abilities to make organizing squads easier.

Maybe even make some debuffs from being away from leadership figures that make marines more shaky and scared, causing their accuracy to suffer or something, ANYTHING to encourage more squad tactics over lone wolfing and scattering.
Sometimes, bravery comes from the most unlikely sources.

That and all these weird ass looking alien classes - Xenos feel less like xenos and more like tyranids
Agreed, especially with the newer castes that, no offense, look like they were colored in by a child
I think personally that the xenos being varying shades of dark blue, grey, brown, or dark purple would fit much better and make them seem more like a swarm
also think it would be cool if the castes weren't attached a color, like they got a random one out of the four there when they evolve from a larva
(but for real why is the burrower orange)

Doesn't hurt to make our own that work for the game.

edit: By this I mean like making a fan made guide to specific fan-made strategies for if the commander or acting commander or even your squad leader call said strategy and veteran players would understand what needs to be done.

Personally I think marines lack lots of discipline, coordination and communication with their own squad. I've seen these points i marked when i am leading a squad and it's a big difficult to assault or defense a position when your own squad is not listening or following orders,if everybody followed orders,we would won combats more often.

Im honestly surprised that marine players haven't formed an anti delta squad. What I mean by that is all players that will work as a team and actually roleplay and stuff all pick 1 squad and meta buddy around like all the people who want to rush and die in the first 3 minutes do with delta.

yeah, when I lead a squad usually i am assigned to Delta,I try to keep my squad all together for get some RP and use tactics when I have to assault or defend.
It's kinda funny when the rushers get nested or killed and they blame because they get fucked up when i never ordered em to rush,it's like music to my ears.
