We are all the protagonist but only the protagonist sometimes. In short, the moral is don't meta by preserving your character just for the sake of trying to survive until the end of the round.Renomaki wrote:

Or that maybe, the title of protagonist just comes and goes. One moment you find yourself in the spotlight, the next, you are just an extra to someone else's story.

It's better to die assisting your wounded comrades or holding off xenos rather than living by pushing marines out of the way as you retreat across the river so you can die in the mess hall while making your way to the uncalled Evac shuttles ten minutes later.
