Three days back, I became RO and decided that all standards would have one Attachtment, while anyone ranked higher would get three or four.
This was a marine major. However, someone tried the same thing but one attachment for EVERYONE. He died.
I believe that this one attachment per standard is the best, if you give anyone else three or four.

Re: One Attachtment RO?
It's a valid strategy, except that generally it means you either have 2 strong weapons or 1 fully modded weapon... With a bunch of wasps surrounding you just trying to see you fall to steal your gun. Heh.
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Re: One Attachtment RO?
Honestly, it is hardly difficult at all to get kills with an unmodded/minor modded gun. It is just that people have the mindset that more mods = more dakka, and not having them makes them weak as shit.
I once had a round as a standard where the RO randomly gave me 3 mods for my rifle, and despite that, I only managed to get a single kill in.
Meanwhile, a long time ago, I managed to fend off crushers with nothing but a bootknife.
People need to get a little more daring is all and learn how to survive without their quickfires and chargers.

Sometimes, bravery comes from the most unlikely sources.
