Your best hunting moments, ever.

The title says it all. I'll start.

It was a low pop round, nothing more, nothing less. I started scaring the engineering team, which was small on LV at this time. They thought a poltergeist was after them, so they got the rosary from the chapel. I Walk in, decloak, and instead of firing, a guy grabs it, screams "BEGONE DEMON!". I disarm him, slowly pick up the rosary, and crush it in my hand like it's paper. Everyone freaks out. I then drag one of the men off....never to be seen again.

My first ever hunt had me critting a queen and walking away because she tried to screech gib me, that's probably the most satisfying thing I ever did.

Probably the time the queen sent a hitsquad of 5 upgraded runners to take out the lodge, which i happened to be in at the time. Somehow it ended up with me still alive, with all my limbs intact, and 3 dead runners.

On my very, VERY first hunt (when I was a noob at predator), I was all alone on big red (for the most part, another pred came in but we were unaware of each other due to comms being down the whole round). I had hardly any experience in hunting, and at the time Feweh decided to hold a UPP event, meaning it was just one predator vs a whole swarm of aliens...

Somehow, with luck, I managed to solo a crusher and kill it while a runner harassed me. By predator logic, I started off as an unblooded on trial, and then managed to successfully become blooded by killing a strong serpent (T3 at that!). Not bad for my first go I suppose.

But my more memorable hunt was on Ice, when our crew of hunters were still preparing our lodge in the garbage dump building. (or whatever you call it). As I was sorting and making it all homey, some charlies decided to barge in unexpectedly, forcing me to cloak and hide behind some blood to hide my ghostly image. The hunter had become the hunted, and I was scared... Moreso because they decided to bring in a Sadar of all things to sweep the small building. With no easy way to stop them, I watched as they looted our lodge, stealing our building supplies and our pot of stew, which I had brought to kept us fed.

After the charlies left and my fellow hunters returned, we all expressed anger at this offence and wished for revenge for the looting of our things. So, with fire in our eyes and a lust for blood, we marched over to where Charlie happened to be positioned, and prepared our ambush.

In a few moments, a glorious battle had begun, and while we did get wounded pretty bad, we did manage to make a few of the charlies into trophies and recovered some of our things in the process... Although we never did recover our stew.. The marines made a good meal, though.

I've had two best hunting moments. Two of them in LV.

First one, the three preds were Boltersam, I think Biolock or Xur can't remember and me, we made our lodge in cargo mining through the rock walls, suddenly the Queen decided to go with her entire hive (which for that time of the round it was pretty small) and tried to swarm us; after a few warning from our side the battle begun and we killed the entire hive but two xenos, the Queen itself and other tier 3. That round the marines won in 1 hour.

The second one, I was hunting in the jungle when I crossed with a crusher that started to follow me making roars and stuff, I knew what was going to happen so I stopped, and dropped three alien mines surrounding me, the crusher, an ancient hunter and an elite hunter ended up trapped in the three mines and I killed them all, felt good.

My favourite round was one on old Ice Map, me and Jones made a lodge in the crashed ship, then the Marines found out. A few scuffles later, two or more squads (Mind you this was highpop, there were a LOT of Marines) decided to attack, and were funnelled down into the small tunnel to the crashed ship ladder. Me and Jones held them there. The FF was unreal, including SADAR FF, and we cut them apart. By the end of it, there were about four or five left, which about half were medics who were just there to drag wounded. So many bodies butchered, so much meat eaten.

Last night [as of this post], I had managed to face my fears and do what I thought could not be easily done: I slain an ELITE Ravager... WITHOUT LOSING MY ARMS.

It was quite an accomplishment, at least to me. The Serpent in question was so baffled by it that they even ended up making a player report about it... Not that I'm proud of that, it kinda sucked, but I guess it was bound to happen. Every predator probably gets at least one in their hunt career... Right?
