Everyone's been lamenting about how we're pretty weak without an update
So what about that new predator-heavy gamemode where the predators kidnap a bunch of people and tell them to survive the various horrors they unleash on them.
What will player predators be doing during tribes?

Re: Our role in Tribes
We already have a role. We either hunt the hoomans, or become a "Protector" of a tribe, which means joining them and protecting them from other tribes. One protector per tribe. This includes killing other preds that are hunting your tribe.

Killing other predators to protect a tribe? That doesn't sound like it's honor code compliant.

That's what I gathered from what I was told and heard. Xur in particular was killing other preds to defend his tribe.

Re: Our role in Tribes
In my opinion, it would take a pretty big show of honour or an impressive feat for a predator to become a guardian of a tribe, perhaps this has happened already ooc or ic. Or perhaps you stumble upon the weakest tribe, so you decided to protect it. In this case, if a fellow predator was to attack the weak tribe you were defending, that would be pretty dishonourable to you, and it would be dishonourable not to defend it.

The only instance I can think of would be a clan war. Their way of settling their differences could be a war where they each have a human group to represent them. I've looked a fair bit and haven't been able to find any information on what happens when two clans clash (so to speak).
I'm stressing way too hard about what to put here, so I'm just gonna leave it blank.... or....
