Broken weapons againts predators.

Post by Heckenshutze » 31 Aug 2017, 14:15

I make this topic to discuss a current issue among predators, our incredible low KO resistance to certain weapons. For example, yesterday, I made a pred blown himself because I got him in a KO lockdown with the fire axe, never stood a chance to get up and defend himself.. another example, as a predator I once got KO'ed for a long time with a boot knife.

Any other examples? I don't mind having a KO chance but getting KOed every two/three hits doesn't seems right

The boot knife and machete have a very high KO chance, and will result in KO locking until you die.

Yeah, generally I believe Fireaxe, Boot knive, machete mainly from experience usually what KOs. Then again, they have more of a RNG chance to KO after obviously the attacker is aiming for the head, possibly the butcher knive aswell. I tend to change tactics when ever deal with certain type of foes, like knive throwing users, duel shotty man, etc. KOs are highly deadly now a days, though KOs I doubt are equivalent to being tacklespammed, and yes we still got tackle spam though we got dah buffs, perhaps nearing par but do tend to happen.

Throwing knives are always a pain the ass, because if you move too much it'll fuck up your bones. Due to how you can't really tell that a marine HAS one, though, makes them even more dangerous.

One moment you are fine, the next you catch one to the face. I can't tell you how many times in the middle of combat I got knifed and never even noticed it with all the red text scrolling by until it was too late. They hurt man... But at least you can return to sender with ease, and pulling them out doesn't fuck you up most of the time.

Also, the fireaxe is fucked up. Why is it most pred weapons can't knock out like that, but a FIREAXE hits hard enough to make you pass out. And it isn't instant either,it is a delayed knockout, meaning you might not notice it until it was too late. Then you get hammered while you are down... You have to be damn well careful when dealing with those, because it always comes without warning at all, and that sucks more than normal tacklespam. At least with tacklespam you can still cry for help...

One time a throwing knive was stuck to my head which is generally where they will aim. After a successful hunt return to the ship, pull the knive out......theres my head bopped on the floor. Throwing knives I always becareful they chuck a knive I chuck it back at em at times. Especially during honor duels, always expect a throwing knive or boot knive thrown either catch it or dodge it by just slightly going back or left.

Grenade launchers.

We get knocked out once by one grenade, then it's all over.
