YOUR GEAR:

BASIC WEAPONS:

PRIMARY WEAPONS:

SECONDARY WEAPONS:

STARTING OUT:

Do not just go down to the ground via the teleport pad. Wait a bit and roleplay with the other hunters. When you are all ready, head down and construct a lodge. A lodge should be safe and out of the way, so that it is not immediately attacked and has all the comforts you will need. It is best to gather construction material, food, and medicine for the lodge at the earliest possible time, and the Hunt itself should wait until after you are finished. If anyone threatens the lodge, you may be more lenient with how you deal with them, as this is not part of the Hunt, though common sense should still apply.

If there are several hunters present, consider dividing the hunting ground so that you are each hunting in different zones. Good luck.

Predator communication and you:

; is the general comm code. You will speak on the civilian frequency, which is a catch-all for all non-military uses. The Sulaco will NOT be able to hear you. However, survivors with civ headets, or people who manually change their frequency, will still be able to hear you, but they won't be able to understand you. Consequently, you will be able to hear survivors speak on this frequency, or anyone else trying to make contact with you.

:h is the secure comm code. You will speak on a secured channel that is only heard by other predators. If you know that your comms are being tracked, or if you just want to remain entirely radio-silent to the outside world, use this channel. You generally won't need this at all unless you have some reason to remain hidden, or you have confirmed the marines are tracking you as mentioned above.

In practice both channels will achieve the same end. Using ; might create more roleplay opportunities, but understand that it's not entirely secure. :h will transmit your message across, but that's it.
