E-grilles remain powered so long as a wire remains under them once powered and general power schenanigans.

Bug Description: Title. Somehow the wire once powered retains ALL of the power in the energy network. After extensive testing this wire doesn't even have to be connected to the network in the first place, so long as the grille was receiving power at one time. It appears to somehow 'remotely' detect if the power generator is producing power regardless if the wires connecting to the egrille remain connected to the main grid.

Additionally, APCs do not provide power to the E-Grilles AT ALL EVER. Just to dismiss any myths or theories that they do even if there is no power generator in the network. APCs DO however provide a 'connection' source for the main grid power REGARDLESS if they are connected via wires to it. So while an APC might not be charging due to no power connection, its WIRES do carry the FULL power grid power. It doesn't even matter if the APC is function just that its connected to wires in the local area.

Even more so wires that remain powering the e-grilles REMOTELY access the main grid EVEN IF power gets interrupted (turned on turned off). The APC Grid also functions like this.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Power an E-grille
2. Leave a wire under it
3. Cut all other connections

The E-grille was unpowered and does not acquire power without the introduction of that Thermal Generator. Trust me, I tested this VERY thoroughly. E-Grilles are also not considered machinery. ALL the power in the cables were generated and very easily measured and monitored.

While I can understand your doubts, in the future don't be so dismissive of my tests.

Can confirm that cutting wires does not update the power network.

This is still happening. I can confirm what infernus said. Turning the power source off/on updates the wire network, but cutting wires doesn't. Moving to Confirmed Bug subforum.
