Bug Description: Ravagers can slash when they are incapacitated for some reason and not crit and ONLY ravagers.


Steps to reproduce:
1. Be person
2. Knock over Ravager with something like an explosion or a mine
3. Get decapitated when you move in to finish it.

I'd heard it might actually be a feature for ravagers, to support their charges getting them bonked. I could be wrong.

I know I'm probably being a right git with the wording and stuff, Noize, but wouldn't that kind of mean it was a feature that Abby just didn't want in the game anymore (lore, balance, whatever)?

It's not really about wanting a feature removed when it's never meant to be a feature. Humans can't interact with anything while they are on the ground. Aliens/whatever shouldn't either, but for some reason they do. That sort of unintended consequence is then ignored for a long time until people become accustomed enough to think it's actually intentional. When it's not, and it only exists because of poor implementation of some feature from ages ago. To give you an example, Gunz the Duel had all sorts of glitches and stuff that were later made into actual features. While that's sort of humorous to me, when it comes to SS13, leaving in unintended behavior only causes more issues in the future when someone else looks at the code and wonders why it even exists, when the answer is: "because I forgot to remove it, lol." And that is why you get run time errors and other unstable performance. Because people are lazy and don't fix their code up to standard.

Fair enough, I was just reading it kind of as Abby saying 'This is a thing, but I think the game would be better without it', as opposed to 'This is a bug, let's remove it when we get the chance'.

No harm no foul. She actually said that when I slashed a praetorian to death while stunned as a hellhound. But more to the point, this isn't really intended and I'm not sure what's causing it. Probably missing a check somewhere...

I personally think it'd be nice as a feature, but I'd let marine that got shoved on the ground have it too and shorten the reach of harm intent to the tile right over you.
In short, make it so like the movies aliens downed can stab people and tail whip them, marines downed can take out their weapon and shoot people over them after a short delay.

I'll make it a suggestion before the code is removed.
