Leadership from experience
Altough i'm not entirely ultra-robust, I belive I do a good job on the leadership roles. I'm quite found of playing SL and BO, have been commanding marines since Nostromo days (even one time pre-apophis times) and have many victories under my names.

My style of leadership is communicating a lot with the SL and the squad itself, but at the same time delegating the role of link Sulaco-Planet to the BOs. In roundstarts I also try to set "custom" orders that differentiate from "patrol east until you find enemies", usually things like "loot the secure storage and deliver all itens to the CL" or "find the dead or alive body of the old Liason of the planet". I tend to dislike calling evacs from the planet and I only do when absolutely sure, consulting the SLs (if they are alive) and the XO/the BOs, I like the call distress signals since it's always good call ghosts to the round, XRT or not.

Outside the IC world, I'm one the oldest CM players and I'm a contributor of the wiki.

Well, the predator is a confirmed hostile so I send the squad that the POW marine is part of to rescue him from the predators.

The Marine FoB is taking a heavy beating with many casualties, but they are still holding out. It is your last LZ and there is a risk the marines might not hold em off much longer. What might you do to ease the situation?

First make a general annoucement telling the marines to hold the line, tell the SLs to drop some OBs for future bombing. Second, tell the RO to prepare a "megapack" with new sentries, mines, metal, helmet and general supplies to the marines and send as much marines as possible to reinforce the FOB. Always stay in contact with the SL or the acting one in the planet, asking how is the situation and see what the squad needs.

Because they captured a marine, like in the post

Doesn't matter who shot first, they took a marine as a prisioner. I won't leave a marine cptured just because we shot first.
