Why should you be whitelisted?
I've learned a lot over the near year that I have been playing CM. With that being said, I have witnessed many COs that will commonly play to only win. Not only does that sound really fucking boring, and it is, they most of the time do the same thing over and over. I plan on doing things differently each round when I go CO. Ranging from skipping briefing, squads going down at different times, to all sorts of things I will plan of in the future. I am NOT playing to win the round and make it boring for my marines, but with that being set in mind, I will NOT make it so the marines lose every round. I will try my best to make it funner, different, and more interesting for the marine side. I am not a CO that will retreat at any little thing that is thrown infront of myself, and I can easily double task. I am willing to order an execution on anyone that pushes their luck on command, interfering with marines winning, which most commanders are too afraid to do.

With that being said, I have been known to be a bit... immature, lately. I have taken a step back, matured, and have changed a whole lot. All I can ask, is that you give me a chance.

What sort of FoBs do you have in mind for say, Big Red or LV?

I'm hoping I have the wrong person in mind, but weren't you ACO-XO when I allowed myself to get kidnapped by a researcher to chestburst in a containment cell, and on wandering in after I cried for help, you ordered the researcher executed for murder and then killed the sentinel in the cell with almost 0 rp involved?

I uh.... never heard of that? I never even ordered to execute anyone as XO before.... so uh.... you must have some other person in mind.

What sort of FoBs do you have in mind for say, Big Red or LV?

Well for Big Red it is hard to be creative with, because well... you are sorta stuck defending the LZ itself, but for LV I might make people move to cargo and set up there along with setting up the LZ, sometimes defend Nexus, i'll most likely set up a secondary FOB at Hydro or sometimes the secure armory. For Ice it is more difficult because the map is more spread out, so i'll stick to the normal, and make them hold the LZ and bar, and around that area until the enemy forces are withered down, and you will be able to push.

I'll invent a LOT new ideas for FOBs later on, but this is normally what I am going to do when I am not feeling too creative.

Last time you applied for CO I brought up the point that you don't really actively work towards increasing rp in the round. I haven't seen anything new in this app and I don't know if you've learned from the rejection of the last app.

All this taken into account plus your really bad forum signature are making me vote -1. Feel free to change my mind, I really don't dislike you(r character), I just find the qualities of a CO lacking.

Fair enough, signatures are known to be -1'd for. And what do you mean by doofuses meritting executions??? I know some people are afraid to execute sometimes, but if I see fighting during briefing with command staff, I am not afraid to take action. (Fighting in terms of, marine going up to someone in command, punching or pushing, and acting like a shitler)

Man, I love Terry. Had a moment today where he went on and on about how he had a great tree, which gave great wood, which the CO said was too good, so he cut it down, and the CE made them into planks, thin planks. All while working to help me. I've seen him in command a few times and hes decent, he RPs well and I would like to see him further.

I see plenty of COs doing the same exact thing each round, make the FOB in nexus, push forward, and boom. I'm going to attempt to continue making sure that everything goes smoothly, while balancing fun and the winning chances. I don't exactly plan on being one of those COs that are disconnected from their troops and will attempt to respond to everyone, being an active one instead.

Now with this I am very confused. Are you downvoting me because... I never executed anyone as XO? And because of my signature? I'll use executions as an RP tool when it is needed, but I wont fucking execute people that stare at me wrongly. But uh... if you have any other criticism besides my signature, please, tell me.

I don't know who's being dense here. I'm hoping it's me and I'm failing to communicate so let's do this simpler.

- You say commanders never execute people for RP reasons
- You've played a shit ton of rounds as an acting commander
- You have never executed anyone, so
- You have never executed anyone for RP reasons


So I'm basically wondering if your idea that COs should execute for RP reasons is a recent thing, because you've never done it despite playing a ton.

And I know disliking a signature as a reason to vote -1 is somewhat vapid but staff attention cringe and really uninteresting/cringy RP in a small paragraph that I have to scroll past every time you post something really takes its toll.

I was on the phone, but I meant this part. This is literally what's being done every round, and the hydro meta is also getting REALLY out of hand recently, because it literally encourages to meta and set up there. It's fine on WO, because it's a survival type of mode/map and they know where the xenos will be coming from, but on LV I find this really annoying and unacceptable.
The fact that you have literally nothing to distinguish yourself from most COs is why I downvoted you, and unless you can demonstrate otherwise, I'll keep it so.
I like you/your character, but recently we have been WAY too lax on commanders. Don't want someone (not specifically you) to get on the list just to have one more person on it.

I wont vote on this. here is my reason;

Max has had a few very competent, and very cool RP rounds. He was my XO more than once, and had even assisted in helping us capture and keep a live predator. I really would like to vote positive on this, but I cant for the reasons hereafter;

*Max, as my XO, has ignored my orders [as CO] more than once, frequently running out of the CiC and not returning for long bouts of time. Generally this would be ok with RP events, but there should at least be either the XO or the CO in the CiC to keep shit running. Very rarely, if ever, should both leave to handle the same RP, IE Cl paperwork, research, prisoners, etc.

*Max has been a little immature lately, dchat salt aside, and im glad he sees it. This, compounded with his previously good RP prevents me from making a -1 vote. But for these three reasons I cant also make a +1 vote as of yet.

if you have anything to tilt my vote max, Ill keep considering it. But its got to really prove that youre going to be competent in the role.

And I can't think of any really recent interactions with you as my superior.

Me and the researcher were about to make a predator blood grenade and test it in research. Annnnnnd it worked... but besides that, IF we had no predator there and the researcher actually did not need help with an autolathe, I would have stayed inside the CIC the whole time, I can promise you that. With what you said in general, I agree. This was a bit messy, but I just hope that people can look past that and see me who I can really be.

Commanders are not predators, in terms of applications. You don't need a super gimmick with both the xeno side and the marine side on each side. (This is not orientated towards you Nic) If you have anything special that you would do on Big Red, or Ice, then tell me. Because it's near to impossible to make it different on those maps, without COMPLETELY losing the round in one fair swoop. LV is the only map I can be creative about, because there are many buildings around LZ1, I am going to commander much more on LV than any other map because of this. It is easier to follow my gimmick of something different, being fun and having a good chance of winning. I promise you, I wont let you guys down if I get commander...

I just kinda feel like, I cant confidently say I want to see you as my CO. You've had a bad attitude enough times as XO that it ain't felt good being under your command when you interacted with us and that's if I notice you even. I keep trying to write more and kinda explain myself a little, but really I just ain't convinced by the application or your replies to a few other people. I might change my vote if you have some nice rounds and I notice you doing things I like or if you can get some big wigs I trust more to approve you. Most of all though if you give some good replies to anyone else who asks some questions for you I'll be reading all of them and might change my opinion based on them. I see where you are coming from. I don't plan on letting my ehm... snowflakeyness get in the way of letting the marines do what they need to do. There will be strong plans in place, of course, they can always fail, or always work depending on how the marines do. I promise you that. I want to have a perfect balance of fun and RP, not acting like a fucking dick all the time. Trust me, I wont let the marines down if I get commander.
