Do you understand that any player - even donors or staff members - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our Server Rules or Roleplay Guidelines?
- As with the Predator whitelist, it is both necessary to have this rule and I fully support and accept it as a rule.
Do you understand how the Battlefield Execution functions?
A Battlefield Execution, in its simplest form, is an instant execution that the Commander is entitled to perform if he believes the person in question is posing an immediate threat to the operation at hand. It should only be used if the person is not in a position to be able to be detained by the MPs or if they are attempting to cause damage to the operation or trying to kill personnel.
Do you understand you are not above Marine law, or allowed to enforce it yourself?
I am aware that no one, not even the Commander, can over rule Marine Law and they can not interfere with the application of Marine Law. As a member of the Command Staff, you can instruct the MPs to make arrests on your behalf but it should always be allowed for the MPs to conduct the arrest and investigation.
What do you think is the job of a Commander?
The role of the Commander is to provide tactical oversight and guidance to the marines, much in the way of the XO, however, as the CO you are the final word on all strategic and tactical decisions. You can take advice from your SOs and XOs or disregard them entirely. The game is to provide entertainment and give enjoyment to all players. So trying to win every round by meta-knowledge etc. is not to be done. I also believe that Commanders are in a position where they can break traditional "meta" strategies by employing more 'wild' tactics, given that they are usually listened to by Marines due to their position more so than XOs who can and are sometimes ignored wholeheartedly if they try to do anything that is considered by the marines to be "non-meta"
If a member of your staff is disobeying orders, how would you handle it?
If it was a situation where there was no urgency, I would remind them of the chain of command. Tell them to carry out my orders and then leave it at that, unless they continued to disobey my orders, at which point I would inform the MPs to arrest them for insubordination and neglect of duty.
If there was urgency to the situation I would directly give my orders to the squad by their comms and get the MPs to arrest the SO for insubordination, if they were aggressive and directly trying to incite ignorance of my orders etc. a few Mateba rounds to the face will alleviate the problem.
Why should you be whitelisted?
I believe I have an excellent knowledge of all aspects of marine law/tactics and I believe I can motivate marines in situations, give orders and tactics that are effective and do not bog the marines down. I can provide new strategies and good RP with everyone involved. I believe I am mature enough to not abuse the BE privilege and all around just believe I could fill the role to its fullest extent.
