I do indeed.
Do you understand how the Battlefield Execution functions?
It's a function that allows Commanders to remove USCM Personnel from the round if they pose an active threat to the mission. It should not be used if said person can be detained by MPs, or no longer poses a threat.
Do you understand you are not above Marine law, or allowed to enforce it yourself?
I understand this fact.
What do you think is the job of a Commander?
To inspire the marines to victory, more so than an Executive Officer, as well as lay out plans for the squads to pull off. In addition, they should direct shipside crew to support the groundside marines to the best of the abilities, while refraining from micromanaging.
They also play a key role in roleplay, such as with the Corporate Liaison, USCMHC, and with any other role-play oriented roles.
If a member of your staff is disobeying orders, how would you handle it?
It would depend on the severity and other aspects of the ongoing round, a few examples;
1.) A Staff Officer disregards an order to move a squad to X position, and instead has the squad hold position at Y. This has little, to no major impact on the mission.
---In this situation I would warn the SO, and if they corrected their behavior, I would have no action taken on it, as losing an SO typically makes a squad rowdy. If they do not, I would order the MPs to detain the SO.
2.) Same situation; albeit it led to the death of many marines, or mission failure.
---I would have the MPs come and arrest the SO on the charges of NoD and Insubordination, in addition, I would have the SO demoted until further notice.
3.) The Engineering staff are not setting up the engines, and are fooling around causing power outages across the Almayer
---I would have the MPs detain the engineers, and if there were any shipside Squad Engi's I would have them restore the engines, if not I would restore the engines myself.
4.) Requisitions is understaffed, underfunded, and have a heavy request of supplies from the SOs/Marines of which they cannot handle.
---There would be no disciplinary action taken, although I would send the XO, Synth, or other staff I have at my disposal to assist them, as well as direct marines to secure any groundside crates.
5.) A Squad Leader is upset with the current state of affairs and is refusing to follow orders. He is currently deployed on the field, with the majority of his squad loyal to him.
---In this case, I would first attempt to reason with him, if no reasonable conclusion could be made, I would attempt to recall the squad to the Almayer. Assuming they would come, I would attempt to reason yet again, if no conclusion can be made, I would have to have the SL arrested, along with any rowdy loyalists. If they refused to come back to the Almayer, I would take no direct action, as deploying MPs to arrest marines hasn't had the best track record, but I would have my shipside roles, and other squads not assist them in any shape, until they have caved, or perished.
Why should you be whitelisted?
I've been a long term player of Colonial Marines and have (mostly) not caused much trouble. I have also provided many instances of successful roleplay with others, in the case of both Command and other roles, such as Liaison.
In addition to the following, I have played Executive Officer several times and, in my opinion, have done moderately well at directing the marines, even scoring a few victories.
