Why should you be whitelisted?

From the first time I played squad leader I noticed something. It was that you need a good leader to lead the marines. I once had a round where there was no command at all, and the RO had to do briefing, and what happened planetside was devastating. You need command, and not any person in command, but someone that is interesting and does their job well. And not only that, but being in command needs a lot of double tasking, and RP abilities, and even tactics that I have. But not even all of these things can describe what is needed, you need to be interesting, understanding, and strict with what you want, and what you need. I have went up the ranks from SL, to SO, to XO. Ever since, I am at the point where XO is not enough for me. I want to be the leader of the marines, give more tactics that would never be thought of before, and adapt to situations to lead my marines to victory. Thank you.

Before I do anything, I would like to state that I give roles off of how many engineers there are. If there are 2, they are likely to get FOB, 1, they are likely to work on power, then move to hydro or nexus(Hydro of which I like to use as a mini FOB most of the time) and 0 would be scouting and or protecting the FOB/'s

Goooood morning marines! I trust you have all slept well, today we are responding to a distress beacon on a WY owned colony, LV-624. Might I remind you, please do not damage much purposely unless NEEDED, for once again, WY owns this colony and might make us pay for un needed damages. I want you all to look for colonists, and extract them. Report in any enemies you see!

Might I remind you, DS2 will only be transported down 3-4 times before it makes its trip back to the Almayer to go on attack runs. Use DS1 when that happens.

None the less, let us get on to the orders. Alpha will be moving from DS1 to set up the Nexus, and LZ1 itself for defenses. I want the pilot protected and the Nexus used as the FOB, making sure that no enemies will get to the DS. Please take DS1

Bravo will be moving to power, assuming that it is not on, and then move over to hydro/medical to set up a mini FOB. This will secure paths between nexus and hydro, making it easier to travel, assuming there is a threat. Please take DS2.

Charlie will be scouting out for the threat, if there is one, and help other squads and locations that are in need. Once again, report in any enemies and escort any colonists that are located to the nearest LZ. Please take DS2.

Delta, I want you to split up into two fire teams, one protecting nexus and one protecting hydro. Make sure that each one is heavily guarded, without any threat taking over the area! Please take DS2.

Karmac said that he did it because he is a negative nancy appearntly. El said that he just... didn't feel like... I was fit, but did not go further than that, and I do not know about the other two.

That is what I was planning on, yes. I will stick to XO for standard stuff, but use CO as VERY un-standard tactics. Such as launching VERY early, make FOBs in areas other than the nexus, and instead maybe the secure armory, or other places, and also want to try tactics that will adapt to the situations planetside. I would rather not try something outrageous to then have the CO walk in thinking I am crazy as XO. I agree though, and I notice that I need to try something new soon, but I am planning it for CO.

There have been a handful of interactions I've had with him being XO or in a leadership role, and they've just been very middle of the road. That's not the standout issue I had, though; nothing he does is to be up in arms about. But there have just been a litter of smaller problems that add up when going against immersion and communication. His XO comes across as highly disconnected, wherein he'll be chiming in on occasion, but never giving a committed form of direction. Punctuation and language also enter into it, if you want to nitpick. It's not chatspeak but it isn't always a complete sentence, and that's the sort of trait I associate with baldies, not trustworthy commanders. I just didn't feel strongly about the app or the perception I had in game.

That being said, it's a long seven days, and if this person takes the criticism to heart and puts in the extra effort, I'd totally be willing to change to a Yes. It's also probable he might not even need my vote, but hopefully they take my feedback regardless. He seems like he's putting effort into it; just lacking experience. It's the little things that sell me on good Commanders.

Rather than retreating at the littlest things, I want to hold until LZ1 falls, and they MUST retreat into the dropship. Even then, I might even want to launch a counter attack towards it. I want to be seen as a very serious person, not even close to what I play as my XO.

Personally, I think this is very generic. What makes you stand out from other COs that do this exact playstyle as a Commander?

Alright. What I am planning on doing is making sure everything does what I want. Arrests will be made if not. I will try to appear as a nice person, but get very pissed off easily. Not only this, I will make sure that my marines take pride in their orders. If they do not follow them, they WILL be punished in one way or another. I am trustworthy of WY, and loyal, but am skeptical of the CL most of the time. I hope that helps you see what I am planning on. Though, it will not be final until, or if, I get commander.

Make up a RP situation. It can be any setting you want. Just show me how your character acts.

They are in the secure storage dome." He states, staring at me with intent of veering my mission over to the documents. "Of course there is. How important are these "Documents"?" I would ask, of course, confused as to why we cannot wait until after the mission is over. I am skeptical over why they are important, but will try to get them for a reward, of course. "Will we get anything in return? The mission would have less of a chance if we attempt to open it up and get it just to please you, of course" I would say in return, hoping that there would be a reward beneficial to the Almayer itself. "We have not decided on anything yet, but I myself could easily pay you..." I notice then, this is a bribe. A bribe to make my marines go to secure storage just for some papers, when the mission is in jeopardy, and he knows it.

Immediately I would send him out of the CIC, saying that we would try to send some marines there, but no promises will be guaranteed.

Lol I barely stand out, the only recognizable trait that my Commander had was being murdered more times then he could count. Like WTF does being a special snowflake have to do with being a commander? You rarely actually get to do anything "Special" without there being a mutiny, and when you get to do something special it's to the point of not even being in your control. As in your influence so so small it doesn't even matter. I see very little problem in someone such as Rust being not "that" special. Rust is more then capable of the commander role, he roleplays fine where I would except from a COMMANDER. This isn't a Predator app, I'm not sure exactly what everyone is getting this "generic" shit from. Like honestly.

As I see it the Command Staff are about as close to antagonists as you're going to get. It's hard to make the round fun for literally EVERYONE without screwing them over, that's how I see it at least.

That is exactly how I view it. It is difficult to be very out of the ordinary when everyone wants the same thing from the CO, otherwise it will be a bad time. Once again, I am trying to make it fun by making new tactics, such as FOBs in other areas but I am limited to what I can and cannot do. That, is the problem.
