Do you understand that any player - even donors or staff members - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our Server Rules or Roleplay Guidelines?
Of Course, if you can't abide with the rules of the whitelisted role, why should they let you keep it?
Do you understand how the Battlefield Execution functions?
Yes. The subject must be a threat to the operation, there is no way to have a scheduled execution, must be kept to a minimal and not go BEing whenever someone lightly insults you, and you must have a valid RP reason for the execution. This relates to admin rule 0, You can do it, but should not. For if you do, you are exposed to the consequences of your actions, and can have your whitelist status remoked, get banned, and finally, you have made a new enemy for no reason.
Do you understand you are not above Marine law, or allowed to enforce it yourself?
I play CMP/MP a lot of my time. I know that the CMP is inside and outside of marine law, along with chain of command, but the CO is not. I can issue him to arrest someone, but cannot issue him to not arrest me/someone else(stated in marine law, wiki/Marine_Law).
I also understand that I am in charge of the operation, not a minor crime of a marine, and should not be worrying about the small crimes of the marines or low staff unless it relates to me.
What do you think is the job of a Commander?
I believe the job of the CO is to coordinate with his XO and SOs to make a reliable plan of action, as they are part of command, and should be trusted, and are 2nd/3rd in charge of the Almayer, therefore, - should - be able to take control of the ship at any time, with no brief needed, as they should've been listening and overwatching the OP it self.
If a member of your staff is disobeying orders, how would you handle it?
XO/SO
I would put them in brig for the charges of insubordination, and conduct unbecoming of an officer. If they are willing, I would give them a chance to explain their idea/reason for doing so first. If they are throwing insults, I would have them in for disrespect also. When they come out, do the same and start throwing insults again, I would have them demoted, and go back to the brig with the charges of repeat offender, insubordination, neglect of duty, and unbecoming of an officer.
Head/Ship Side Role/SL
I would give them the charges of insub, in the case of a head, unbecoming of an officer. If the head repeats their actions, I would have them demoted, with the charges of Unbecoming of an officer, repeat offender, and insub. While if it is a Shipside role I would give them insub, if they do it again, insub and repeat offender. In the case of an SL, insub, then return to duty unless defying the orders once again, then will be demoted to a marine, with repeat offender and insub.
Marine/Marine Role(ex. medic, specialist, engineer)
I would give them insub, and, if done again, give them insub and repeat offender.
Why should you be whitelisted?
I think I should be whitelisted because we need more balanced COs, most COs are either super serious, with threats to BE and what not. With the other group being relaxed, calmly organizing the situation. I wish to be a CO that combines the 2. I would be a serious and relaxed CO, not making huge deals from threats, but has a line and will have already have given a punishment. I wish to RP as if I am a CO devoted to the operation, not to the little struggles of the MPs finding a marine drunk, but may get involved if there happens to be a grenade thrown in breifing.
All in all, I wish to be the CO that everyone is excited for when he is Commander, and knows that there is going to be a fun round ahead.
All feedback and criticism is welcome and appreciated!

I recognize the name a bit, but I'm not sure I've ever seen you in a command roll before... the application is pretty good, though. I'll drop a neutral.

Re: Commander Williams (Lukey's CO app #2)
I've seen you as an SO and you seem competent enough.
Never seen you as an XO though.
Now, in your app you seem to be throwing around charges left right and centre. You're not the law, and you certainly do not enforce it.
As a CO your primary responsibilities lay in maintaining the men under your command, the ship and defeating the enemy.
Neutral for now. I'd like to see you play XO. I'm sure you have, however I've never seen you. Also I think you need to brush up on Marine law and the importance of Communication, logistics and maintaining discipline within the CIC and on the ship.

On the charges part, this is what I would recommend to the MPs, not enforce them to count it. I am planning on going XO a bit more, had a little IRL the last few days.RobBrown4PM wrote: ↑23 Apr 2018, 17:04I've seen you as an SO and you seem competent enough.

Re: Commander Williams (Lukey's CO app #2)
Alright.
Hmm. I can say I know the name but I can't really put it to a character. I don't know you well enough to formulate an opinion and have few occurrences of interactions with you to guage your RP.
I have also not seen you in command roles so I cannot give an assessment on skillset.
I'll remain neutral for now.

I always put the link there, I've seen a lot of other people do it. If it is a problem, I can remove it.

Okay fair enough, I’ll remove my negative vote. For the record, I have seen your character around a lot and always seemed like one of the effective players.

Re: Commander Williams (Lukey's CO app #2)
You've been very persistent, and consistently try to improve your understanding and reputation on the server. It's very clear to me that you take applying for these roles seriously, and genuinely take criticism to try and better yourself for the roles you aspire to play. I think that having you on the CO whitelist would be a great stepping stone for showing off your abilities as a player and roleplayer for the more difficult whitelists like pred and synth. Assuming you get some more practice playing the XO role in the upcoming days,

Completely abhorrent as a CMP, easily angered and flustered from personal experience.
+1, will make rounds interesting.
