Marine Name (so we know who you are; if you play alien mostly, state that here): Garviel Rozencruze.
Name/Designation of the Synth Character you’re requesting to use (Follows common naming rules, and requires a first name with no last name): Abigail
Are you familiar with the Synthetic Programming and Guidelines (http://www.colonial-marines.com/viewtop ... 57&t=14417)?: I have read the Synthetic guidelines extensively over the past months, and have asked questions over discord to council member Matt about anything that i was unsure of. Also the link in the template is outdated.
Synthetic Character Story (An ADEQUATE description and story of your Synthetics actions and involvement in a previous mission onboard the Almayer):

Abigail awoke from the hypersleep pod, and that is not an incorrect statement even for a machine like her. While she was unquestionably a facsimile of a human female, and many would claim that she was instead "activating" as any other machine might, this was not entirely true of the Weyland-Yutani branded synthetic. She experienced confusion of a sort, a brief disorientation, a lack of understanding about her location and purpose. It passed quickly, albeit quicker than any organic mind roused from hypersleep ever could.
Abigail rose to her feet, and set off, deftly sidestepping past a man groggily milling towards the other exit of the hypersleep bay - a cursory glance dismissing his condition as standard side-effects of hypersleep, that would pass once he was fed. Striding purposefully towards CIC to request orders, her internal chronometers informed her that the operation was thirty three minutes and fifty seven seconds underway. On her journey to CIC, she noted that several nano-med vendors were missing supplies, she assessed the likelihood of survival for personnel with critical injuries in this part of the ship - factoring the lack of immediate first aid into her calculations. Finding that the percentage chance of survival was below the acceptable margin, she made an alteration in her route.
On the way, a Marine wearing a purple banded Helmet, and gloves, but no armour stepped in front of Abigail, and exclaimed "robot, get me BC". Abigail frowned in what she hoped was an acceptable imitation of irritation, and said:
"Please refer to me as a Synthetic at the very least, i am not Seegson trash. As for your request, i am not fetching you gear from requisitions, you will have to speak to the current Requisition Officer - Ensign Gareth Wulf. May i also advise that you wear your ar..."
But the marine was already out of earshot, heading for the requisitions line, doubtless intending to pester the RO for a Barrel Charger. Abigail keyed her radio and requested that a shipboard MP investigate Private David Rooder for a potential break of Marine law article five, which stipulates proper uniform code.
Seeing Abigail entering medbay Professor Hekmatyar turned from her examination of the cryotube temperatures.
"Ah, Abbey, i heard you over the command channel how can i..."
"Professor, i am just passing through, i must inform you that the emergency medical vendors in the aft sections are understocked, you should restock them. I must proceed to CIC."
Abigail walked off without another word, leaving the Chief Medical Officer staring in stunned silence.
Finally in CIC, Abigail approached the command pod in the center, and noted that Commander Muller was rather frustrated.
"Reporting for duty sir, how may i assist?"
"Go down the LZ, fix the damn FOB, those damn CLF Untermenschen have slipped the net of our advance and may mass for a counterattack."
Abigail immediately complied, heading for her personal vendor to retrieve engineering equipment. Abigail noted that she liked the commander, his orders were simple and left a lot of room for her to interpret - He understood that she was no mere "robot"

Abigail did her very best to wear an expression of horror at the sight of the FOB, which currently consisted of two long lines of un-barbed metal barricades and sandbags, with only a single plasteel folding barricade allowing access from outside, and between the defensive layers. She didn't bother accosting the squad engineers who were sitting and smoking atop an unopened M56D Smartgun crate, instead she quickly calculated the optimal arrangement for maximum outgoing firepower, optimal security for minimal material usage, and ideal spacing for troop mobility behind the line; and set to work immediately. It was only as she approached the Engineers to add their "chair" to her fortress did they even notice that their surroundings had been completely rearranged.
"What did you do to my barricades? they were fine the way they were!" the first man exclaimed.
"yEaH, wHaT hE sAiD¡" stammered the second, who reeked of cheap beer.
"Your defensive arrangement was wholly inadequate both for my sensibilities and for those of command, i was instructed to fix your shoddy work by the Commander" Abigail Explained quickly.
"So far i have improved troop mobility through the FOB threefold, and have increased the potential fire output of defenders by forty three percent. I require the Smartgun to increase that figure by a futher fifteen percent, please stand up".
Whatever creative riposte was brewing within the two engineers was cut short when a hail of gunfire thundered towards them from grey armoured figures outside the FOB, one of the bullets catching the helmetless drunkard across the side of the head. Abigail responded immediately, dragging the man into cover behind her expertly designed barricade line, and immediately tending to his wounds. As the marines inside the FOB rushed to the defensive line and returned fire, Abigail worked quickly to stabilise the man with the few emergency medicines she had brought in preparation for being groundside.
As the gunfire begun to wound down, the CLF traitors beaten back, the greviously injured engineer croaked "W-w-will i d-d-die?" looking at Abigail with pleading eyes.
Abigail looked back into his eyes, seeing what she thought was fear and confusion. She smiled a thin smile, and with no small amount of pride said:
"Obviously not"
How do you intend to play your Synth (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your Synth and what support roles you’ll mainly focus on, what is your synthetics quirk)?
Abigail is a very self assured and arrogant synth, believing her approach to any task is the best one, as she believes that her creators to be master craftsmen, and believes herself to be their masterpiece. She has a tendancy to be curt, and to cut off conversations, or state facts that some may find to be offensive, but within the limitations of the synthetic guidelines: It is not her intention to offend or antagonise the crew of the Almayer, only to do her duties at the peak of her performance. She is also cold and analytical internally, but does her best to hide it under a human guise.
Abigail will act in any department that is required, but will request assignments where she can prove her attitude of superiority, such as engineering the perfect FOB, tending to several marines at once in medical, or developing ideal drug mixtures in chem. She understands that one measure of a good synth is to follow orders (she isn't David), and she naturally does that with the same proficiency.
How familiar are you with support roles? (ie; Medical, MT, Science, SO)
I've been working Medical for quite a while, and have pretty much every procedure and condition memorised. I love chem and research, as making interesting new mixes and experimental grenades is a great deal of fun (big props to Harry Granite and Alice Hekmatyar, they taught me so much). Engineering roles i'm fine with, i don't play MT very often, as shipboard maintenance can get somewhat boring unless you are given a construction project, but i know the inns and outs of making and breaking stuff on the Almayer. I don't play engineer as often as perhaps i should, but i know how to build a good Fortification, and often end up micromanaging my Engineers when i am SL. Command roles i find that i'm quite good at, managing a squad through an overwatch console gives you a chance to sit down and do plenty of talking, as well as understand the flow of a round. While i've not played XO more than thrice so far, i did got positive feedback each time (thanks to Commander Jacque Devereaux for letting me take the reins).
Why should we whitelist you?
There is a lack of synths that have an unlikable attitude, so i'm looking to fill that space and add to the pool of synth players, which seems to be a bit low. I can RP pretty well as i've shown in my tenure as CMP and researcher, although i admit playing Liason more is probably a good idea.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)? No; although for full disclosure i recall that i was given a two hour EORG ban at some point in the last three months.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why? I am not banned on any other servers.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or the Synthetic Programming Guideline? This is understood and appreciated, a high RP role like this needs to be guarded against low quality play.
