Are you familiar with the Synthetic Programming and Guidelines (<URL url="viewtopic.php?f=57&t=14417")
I am unable to use weapons and I must cause an uncanny valley situation as part of my existence. Got it.

The mission began at 1300 hours, with Commander Joseph Settler and I waking up the shipbound marines in preparation for the upcoming deployment. Several minor incidents occurred while mission preparation was being established, which were relatively minor and involved only a case of insubordination and a weapons malfunction.
Dropships were loaded and ready for deployment by 1320. I did not receive the full mission briefing as I was deploying with Alpha and squads were dismissed as orders were issued. Alpha, led by Seargeant Hawthorne, was to reestablish communications and power as they were in adjacent buildings.
During our descend only two marines got sick, but later autopsies revealed they had tried to make homemade moonshine using welding fuel. They were buried instead of cremated for safety reasons.
Our landing was less than regulation, the pilot reported some sort of blockage obstructing the designated landing pad which revealed to be large fans of some purpose. As this planet's power source was primarily wind and solar power, the obstruction was decided to not be worth destroying and we had to touch down in a nearby valley and walk to the settlement.
The pilot had previously reported high winds which were consistant with colonist reports for wind power, but the valley we landed in was relatively calm. We could hear the wind over us, a distant howling but were otherwise unaffected. The medics and I should have paid more attention when marines started stating they heard screaming on the wind.
As we approached the outskirts of the settlement we began to see signs of damage. Piles of scorched materials, possibly plant matter or other organic substances lay in smoldering heaps. Sergeant Hawthorne suggested investigating after we finish our primary objectives, but I was allowed to say behind with a marine to take samples.
I was unable to determine the exact nature of the materials. They were native to the planet and either were not classified as a threat or the terraformers missed this particular breed of plant life. Irregardless, they cause hallucinations in short doses and anaphylactic shock after prolonged exposure.
I was not immediately aware of the plant spores, but I began to notice signs of duress among my marine companion at 1340, when he began answering questions I had not asked. Before I could suggest anything, I was interrupted by what I believed was Alpha setting up the telecommunications system, but was quite surpised when a Bravo squad member asked why Alpha had not arrived yet.
My confusion must have been apparent, as I was ordered to return to the dropship I had arrived from. My initial response was to object, but gunfire nearby caused me to reconsider my position.
One of the pilots, realizing something was amiss, had locked himself in the sealed cockpit and began purging dropship air systems and was breathing entirely from a respirator. The other was hoarding a small pile of ammo clips and seat belts with a knife. It was far to late for him as my initial statement, "Are you on drugs, Officer Andrews?", was received less than favorably. There was a scuffle, with the pilot officer attempting to fire upon me and my marine companion stopping him.
Both were fatally shot with no nearby medical supplies as the pilot had also stored them somewhere in his duress and refused to tell 'a reptoid like myself' where they were. The other pilot refused to open the cockpit until we were back on the Lone Star.
Medical was already warned I would be arriving with two wounded, and they were inside the shuttle before we finished landing at 1410. Almost immediately the contamination alarms began to go off, signally several rounds of cursing from the medical staff who had boarded.
Among the medical staff trapped within the dropship with us was the medical researcher, Doctor Evan Grant. He and I spoke at length about what I had seen on the planet, with the Commander and his staff officers adding in what they saw through helmet cameras. It was at this time that we realized that there was a particular fungal spore at fault. The doctors on the dropship, along with the researcher, made a crude inhaler that negated some of the effects of the spores.
I, being immune, was released through the quarantine to speak with the captain. I was given several sealed containers and orders to return to the planet to collect samples.
After several purges of the dropship air tanks, there was no major contamination found within its systems. We were still going through the checks when the dropships alarms began to go off. Not our alarms, the alarm for an unscheduled dropship heading quite erratically towards the Lone Star.
Initially we believed the rogue ship would miss the Lone Star entirely, but at the last moment struck her engines causing instability in its orbit. This, in turn, caused the hangers to seal and trap nearly all of the medical staff on the far side of the vessel from the point of entry. As most of engineering was in one or the other of the atmospheric wings, there were fairly no repairs able to be completed before we reached the point of no return.
With atmospherics gone, whether intentional or not, the flow of clean air was slowly halted.
At 1520 we stopped receiving orders from command.
At 1700, we had gone an hour without any other contact from the ship's crew.
At 1730, the doctors commented that the air was getting rather thin and that we should leave. The hangers were sealed, but our remaining pilot made a door using a dropship mounted machine gun and a rocket.
Despite barely having enough room for two pilots, we managed to get four doctors, a medical researcher, a pilot and myself into the cockpit to watch the fall of the Lone Star. A few of the doctors swore, or cried. Nothing was spoken for quite awhile.
We realized far too late we would not survive reentry.
The landing gear had sustained damage from our escape, and had been venting atmosphere from the dropship. We moved into a stable planetary orbit, and weighed our options.
The pilot lasted the longest, since he plugged himself directly into the air system. It was 1900 when I finally found the panel that the previous pilot had stored his supplies.
I weighed the options carefully. Landing a damaged shuttle was not worth the risk.
At 1910 on February the 12th, I was alone.
A response force investigating the Lone Star going dark arrived July 22nd, 0200 hours.
I, Joseph, of stable condition and status finish this report.
How do you intend to play your Synth (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your Synth and what support roles you’ll mainly focus on, what is your synthetics quirk)?
I would probably assist as a sort of nurse or cargo drone, moving supplies back and forth and doing jobs marines usually tend to shirk. Joseph's quirk would probably be some sense of vanity, as in always trying to collect reflective objects to see his own reflection.
How familiar are you with support roles? (ie; Medical, MT, Science, SO)
I am still stuck in the old ways of medical(TG), but I have played many of the other roles quite often.
Why should we whitelist you?
I honestly do not see many synthetic characters and I would love to give it a try. Plz.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
I don't think I have ever been banned from CM, much less in the last month.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
Not to my knowledge.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or the Synthetic Programming Guideline?
Ban me if I'm shit.
