Are you familiar with the Synthetic Programming and Guidelines ?
Yep, read everything and understood.
Synthetic Character Story :

His sysadmin is a young adult named Azami Kochi, AI psychologist and high ranking engineer in USCM High Command. Despite her young age and lack of experience, she is seen as a child prodigy in the scientific community.
Azami Kochi wanted to implement in Liam's firmware a new client-server communication system using quantum processors and a "fourth-dimensional" "Tesseract" coding language. This technology being experimental, the project has been accepted at one cost : the quantum processors should only serve an auxiliary purpose in Liam's functions. In other terms, main processors are standard, and the experimental ones only show up from time to time, following pre-determined testing routines.
How do you intend to play your Synth ?
Because of his young age, Liam can hardly imitate any human emotion and still has to learn how to leave the uncanny valley in terms of behavior. Despite his lack of "humanity", he is talented and can provide consistent support to any department. His experimental firmware can show up anytime, with random results, but the acting commander can remotely disable Liam if needed. Liam will remind the acting commander of this right regularly.
Example of random behaviors : installation of robotic limbs or organs during surgery without consent for transhumanism purposes, replacement of Tcomms APC with a potato battery, delivery of a lenghty speech with the megaphone during memorial service while the ship is being boarded.
Added to that, Liam will develop a growing interest in the Xeno threat, until it becomes an obsession. Along different stages (hearing of the existence of the xenos, seeing a dead xeno, seeing a live xeno, communicating with a xeno...) he will become more and more supportive until he reaches the point where this could become a threat for the USCM. He might modify OB coordinates to prevent the losses of xenos, prevent access to the self destruct system if all command staff is already dead, cuff an infected marine who is trying to commit suicide or prioritize infected marines during evac (one infected marine with 2 healthy civilians to ensure spread of xeno infection in the escape pod).
While some of this behavior may be borderline, Liam will 90% of the time be a helpful and friendly synthetic, and whenever I'll have a doubt, I'll use adminhelp to double check if something is feasible or not.
How familiar are you with support roles?
I am a skilled CMO, CE and I'm quite familiar with the role of MP.
For example, I can practice field surgery with oxycodone and ghetto tools, find the required elements to make bots, transform a door into a deadly fast-closing, electrified deathtrap, or build an autism fort in CIC using only the metal we can find there.
Why should we whitelist you?
I've been playing CM since the Nostromo, almost every role except req. I love this game and would like to explore the more obscure roles available that require to be whitelisted.
Predators require to be fairly robust in combat, which I am not, and CO requires strategy skills that I don't have, which is why I only play XO during low pop. However, I already tried different (successful) strategies such as LZ2 FOB on LV-624 and 3-squads underground assault from different locations on Ice Colony.
Synthetics, however are more RP oriented and I think I could provide a good animation with my character Liam.
Outside of CM, I used to be gamemaster in a French cyberpunk online roleplaying game and provide animations to a community of 200 people. I stopped due to a lack of personal time, but I'm still involved in this game as a player (as an artificial intelligence). I appreciate games like SOMA and every entertainment works exploring the nature of Human consciousness. I watched and really enjoyed all Aliens, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Armitage III and many more.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason?
I've never been banned from CM, but I've made some rookie mistakes.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
I was banned few years ago on a High RP server for stealing the captain's uniform and spreading the HoP's brain on the floor while shooting "YOU'RE THE NEW JANITOR". My character had a good reason to do this, but it still broke their non-antag rules. My character was a miner, he found an old research station full of blood and gibs and lost his mind. He then went back to the main station and asked the HoP to give him access to the janitorial closet, for space cleaner, because he was traumatized and wanted to clean himself. Evil HoP demoted him to janitor, leading to a salty, yet skillfull and ironical revenge.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or the Synthetic Programming Guideline?
Yep
