An explosion shook the USS Alamayer, the last UPP soldier that had boarded their ship, had detonated himself near a hull piece already damaged by heavy fire. Air started to flow out the breach in the hull. A click fastened the cyborg to the floor, as marines frantically grabbed to anything welded to the floor. With a slow steady pace, it marched forward, going for the hull breach. Some marines had been flung through by the sudden air compression, only vague noises and pleas for help was audible, but the sensory aggregates on MANFREDD had picked it up, and so had no other choice than to ensure these men got back safely. Stepping through the breach, the silent glimpses of light from the cannons fingering another broadside could be felt alongside the hull. A soldier, clinging to scraps on the side of the hull, gasping, his fingers slowly loosening their grip. A cold, dry sensation clung to the marines wrist, as a synthetic hand had grabbed it, and a smile graced his saviours face. "Please come inside, it is unsafe for organics in depressurised areas." The marine was dragged inside, as MTs rushed in with metal foam sprayers, the clunk of their mag-boots blending with the clocks and whirrs from the synthetic, the marine still heaving in air, his lungs having been almost emptied on the outside of the hull. "Please ensure adequate medical care is given to this individual. He is showing symptoms of, Decompression, Blunt Force Trauma to: Cranium, Chest and Rip-cage, as well as potential neurological and vital organ damage to heart and lungs."
In the med-bay, several marines had been diagnosed with decompression, the medical staff, frantically working on removing and reviving dead tissue, MANFREDD was ensuring that the most critical was receiving medication to stabilise them, and that surgeons were prioritising those closest to death. MANFREDD turned down his audible sensors, as the marines were all screaming in pain, an odd concept, but one with annoying consequences. He was lucky he could turn out noise, he thought, as he dragged another into the medical office, a marine trying to not drop the leg that had been shot off at the knee. Blood spattered his hands and cloths, another biological inconvenience. These biologic personnel could get really bothersome with all their internal problems. He spotted the marine he had saved from space, coughing up blood. His scanner showed his heart had burst, only waiting to die out. All the doctors were occupied. The marine was already dead. MAN-FREDD just stared as the marine looked at him begging with his eyes. MANFREDD turned, and assisted another marine, as the one with the burst heart, slowly died, watching the bloody medical scrubs on the droid.
How do you intend to play your Synth (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your Synth and what support roles you’ll mainly focus on, what is your synthetics quirk)? I will be trying to help medical as best i can, as thats where most of my competence is. I will be cold and factual to any i treat, only talking with titles and names to commanding staff and doctors. I will adhere to marine laws, as synthetics need to, but i will also try to show this is only due to programming, and it has nothing to do with carrying for living humans, like described in the last paragraph of the above story.
How familiar are you with support roles? (ie; Medical, MT, Science, SO) Everything besides MT, but i am quick with a guide at my hand. Extensive Medical experience.
Why should we whitelist you? I am a long term member, that cares for good roleplay, and are co-operative with admins. I have high experience in a lot of types of RP, both IRL and on byond.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)? I received a warning around a year ago due to some EORG(I was still new), but nothing since
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why? No
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or the Synthetic Programming Guideline? Yes, thats fair

Re: MAN-FREDD, the Medical Synth for your war time needs
Personally I don't think your name is lore friendly as most Synths in the Alien Lore use single first names (or a first and last name) and don't have "-" in their Name.

-1, the format is really bland, and most of all this is your second forum post.

You also created the account on this day. The content doesn't seem to be up to standart. In the beginning you said droid and then your android was a cyborg all of the sudden later in the story. You should've looked at other applications to see what is expected from you in this application.
I'll have to give it a -1

You should give yourself time to be immersed in the community before applying for a white list. Get people to know you, either by forums or by CKEY from in game. Preferable both, as forum presence is practically required for any white listed role.

I don't know if this is me... or... what kind of name is MANFREDD. It sounds like Man Fred to me.
I am gonna have to 1-, even though you have a good backstory, this app is just all over the place.

I play as Monday "Scatter" Williams, he is the guy that takes no one seriously, except his good friend, his work.

Re: MANFREDD, the Medical Synth for your war time needs
I'll come back for a more in depth look later today, but my initial impressions are that you need to work on your grammar. While if somebody was criticizing the spelling mistakes of a predator or commander I would consider it nitpicking, the synthetic role to me is a different beast. Since you're essentially a living computer, I would expect few errors in both spelling and grammar. While nobody is perfect and every synth slips up every now and then, I think that typing like a synth is something integral to the role.
xywenx already pointed out that your name isn't acceptable, and I'd agree with that. The synth is an attempt to make something robotic as human as possible, and having a name which is an acronym defeats that purpose as it is dehumanizing.
Lastly, I feel that you need to pick a synthetic quirk that is more, quirky. As far as I can tell your only quirk as a synth is going to be that you're "cold and factual." which is frankly something that all synths will likely be unless their quirk was that they're always cheery. Being cold and factual is something that's a given considering that you're a creation trying to imitate a human. My quirk for example was that I make awkward and dark humor at inappropriate times as I felt it captured the difference between a synth and human nicely and would be fun to roleplay.
This was initially supposed to be just a quick few sentence impression but my class got delayed so here we are. I'll try and think of something else to add later, but for now.
