Synthetic Character Story (An ADEQUATE description and story of your Synthetics actions and involvement in a previous mission onboard the Almayer):
► Show Spoiler
Through the first iterations of the Almayer, Brooke was assigned to it as one of the newer synthetic personnel to serve aboard the USS Almayer as an assistant in times of need, although the first few months of service were quiet, the ship was fitted with a battalion of ready and combat cappable marines for any action that awaited them. He was assigned menial tasks, of cleaning and maintaining the ship or helping requisitions with supply.
Rarely was he tasked with anything the battalion couldn't handle and when he was, the tasks were often about under-manned positions, such as a temporary pilot or medical support.
Until operation twister, a brief mission which had taken its toll on Brooke. A routine checkup on an outpost went dark after a small unit of rebelious colonists that were still in-furiated by the Cristóbal Massacre back in 2169, took hold of the base. As the outpost was just outside the solar system, the USS Almayer was dispatched as it was the closest vessel. Upon landing near the outpost, the rebels opened fire on the marines as they attempted to storm into the complex.
After brief fire fights around the outpost, Brooke was sent in to aid any non-combants and civilians on the ground.

ARES - Attention: Activation of synthetic #267 has been authorised. All personnel are to be advised the synthetic "Brooke" has been activated.
Commander- Thank you ARES, I want him to be sent here, I've got an assignment for him.
__________
Brooke - Commander, you've requested me?
Commander - Synthetic, we've ran into some trouble with this operation, are you aware of the current mission.
Brooke - Yes sir, there's a small insurgency of rebels entrenched at the outpost we're at. We've been taking some casualties I've heard.
Commander - Indeed, we've gotten plenty of wounded marines at the AO and I'd like you to help with the battle.
Brooke - Alright, I'll be grabbing a medical kit and be depl-
Commander - Nonsense, I don't need more doctors in the field, the auto-docs are able to sustain and repair any wounds, I need soldiers on the field. I want you to fight along side my men,
Brooke - But sir, I'm not programmed to fight or even kill a person. I'm only allowed to preserve myse-
Commander - Are you still here, deploy already and help them. Just get the job done.

With the conversation over, Brooke had deployed on the dropship with a pistol in hand, he had no intentions of killing as it wasn't in his programming, so he'd leave the pistol by the dropship.
Stepping out of the cargo doors he could hear faint gun fire in the distant battles that lie ahead, he'd looked around the landing zone, seeing a few wounded being left for the medical crews to pick up.
Not wanting to stand idly by, Brooke did his best to load the wounded onto the dropships. Afterwards he'd leave to the frontlines, where the fighting seemed to take place.
The battle in which he arrived in was a stalemate at best, the squad platoon leader could be seen with a few more of his marines, ducked behind the metal barricades they've placed.
The outpost was riddled with bullet holes and small bits of debris could be seen scattered around the building.
Rebel forces seemed to have taken a hold of the armouries and were heavily entrenched with military grade weapons at their disposal.
The platoon leader had spotted Brooke and signaled him to come to his side.
__________
Squad Leader - What are you doing here, this is no place for a walking tin can.
Brooke - The commander had ordered me to help with ground operations.
Squad Leader - Can you fire a gun?
Brooke - Unfortunately I'm not programmed for combat, but I may be of use in some other ways.
Squad Leader - Well it's quite pointless if you can't even shoot. Maybe your mini-computer brain has some bright ideas in it?
Brooke - I can see for any weaknesses in the enemies positions if that's needed.
Slowly peeking up above the barricades the Squad leader immediately pulls him back down, just before a ripple of gun fire scrappes the barricade nearly hitting Brooke.
Squad Leader - Are you mad?! They've got sight lines on all of us, we're pinned here. Peaking your head up would be suicide!
Brooke - Prior before I've arrived, I hadn't been able to see the outpost. Indeed it was, but I've required the necessary information in the time that I had.
Squad Leader - Well, I'm waiting...
Brooke - There's at maximum 7 hostiles , one in each window of the building. I think with enough supressive fire, one of your marines would be able to launch grenades into the windows, to eliminate the threat. All we need is someone to draw their fire first.
Squad Leader - Lance Corporal, get the 'nade launcher ready and fire into the windows when I say so and thank you for volunteering to draw their fire for us.
With a thought of surprise, Brooke thought the Squad Leader was joking at first but was reassured when the look of determination was in the man's eyes.
__________
Readying himself, the squad of marines took their positions and the squad leader signaled Brooky to run to the nearest area of cover.
The rebels opened fire on him as he sprinted his way to cover.
As Brooke drew their fire, the Squad Leader gave the order and the marines unleashed a hail of suppressive fire onto the windows.
With the rebels pinned, the SL signaled to the Lance Corporal to launch the grenades. Blasts erupted within the building and the gunfire had stopped.
Brooke made his way back to the squad, being thanked by the squad leader for his efforts.
__________
The inside of the building was next. With the gunmen taking care of, it was time to sweep the insides of the outpost.
Brooke tailed the squad into the building, checking corners and busting down doors. The outpost command center was a priority. He was dispatched with the Lance Corporal to recover any data and to re-establish the secuirty cameras, in hopes of finding the rest of the insurgents. A quick walk from their location to the commander center had them cautiously checking behind closed doors of any surprises. Finally they've arrived, Brooke checked the computers seeing the wires and circuits being damaged. Searching around for tools, he had to move to the technicans closet just outside the room. Grabbing the tool box he headed back. Although the wires were damaged and the circuits slightly broken, he managed to repair what he could. The radio headset on the Lance Corporal crackled to life with the Squad Leader's voice. Checking with his superior that the job had been done. Yet only moments later, a bullet had hit the marine in the shoulder. Both of them took cover. The gunmen were taking potshots at them, closing the distance cautiously. Brooke, seeing only two enemy combatants, was confident the Lance Corporal was able to subdue the threat. Using his sidearm to knock one down to the floor and wounding the second one, the Lance Corporal was able to eliminate the threat. A quiet clatter of metal could be heard from one of the rebels as a grenade dropped from the wounded one's hand.
Knowing the explosion would kill all of them, he had to take one for the team. Covering the Lancer Corporal, Brooke took the brunt of the damage, leaving much of his body to be torn with shrapnel. The base was swept again for any more rebels, thanks to the help of the computers but to no avail were there any remaining rebels. The Squad Leader signaled the dropship and the remains of the Synthetic was brought aboard, hoping the technicians would be able to repair the damage.
__________
Commander - Excellent job Squad Leader, such a shame we've lost the synthetic, but at least the mission was a success.
Squad Leader- What will we do with the remains sir?
Commander - We don't have anything to repair him with, the auto-doc can only fix so much. We're gonna need to send him back to the factories to get fixed. Shame, could have helped the MTs with fixing those blasted old engines.

How do you intend to play your Synth (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your Synth and what support roles you’ll mainly focus on, what is your synthetics quirk)?
My synthetic is a practicalist. He intends to accomplish the objective in the safest, logical manner possible but he will take risks if and when it's needed to accomplish any goals his supperiors have ordered him to do.
I intend to play a multi-purpose role to help the marines in any way possible.
How familiar are you with support roles? (ie; Medical, MT, Science, SO)
I'm a jack of all trades. I've played most roles regarding Medical, engineering, and leadership. I've a broad and sophisticated knowledge on how most machines and objects in CM work.
I think I've the capabilites to aid the marines and provide a roleplay opportunity when presented with one.
Why should we whitelist you?
I do enjoy roleplay and I think my diverse skill set can help the marines when there is no personnel available, I will fill in for them.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
Nope.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
Nope.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or the Synthetic Programming Guideline?
I understand fully.
