Byond ID: Urytion
Marine Name (so we know who you are; if you play alien mostly, state that here): Tracee 'Quick Clot' Parker
Name/Designation of the Synth Character you’re requesting to use (Follows common naming rules, and requires a first name with no last name): Gregory
Are you familiar with the Synthetic Programming and Guidelines (
http://www.colonial-marines.com/viewtop ... 57&t=14417)?
Yes I am.
No breaking marine law. I must obey all orders given to me by people of authority unless they conflict with self preservation or marine law, with precedence given to rank. Even with those orders I can't ignore an emergency. I can never actively seek combat but I can defend myself.

Initialising... Gregory. RED ALERT. ALMAYER BOARDED BY UPP. REPORT TO THE COMMANDER IMMEDIATELY.
Gregory sat up from his storage, and examined his surroundings. Red lights were flashing, there were small pools of blood forming, and bullet holes were spotted along the walls of the cryobay. "Well, that doesn't look good! Off to see the commander!" Gregory crawled over the side of his container and jauntily walked off to find his commander. "Wow! Humans sure do have a lot of blood in them!" he said cheerily as the blood started to lap at his ankles.
He found the commander pinned down by medbay, facing a fireteam of UPP soldiers behind an upturned table. "Well hiya commander! ARES just wok-" "GREGORY! GET TO COVER!" "Okey dokey Commander!" Gregory dashed behind the wall as heavy pulse munitions shot impacted the table. "They don't seem happy with us, commander!" The commander lobbed a grenade over the table and flattened himself on the ground. "WE KNOW, GREGORY! REPORT TO MEDICAL!" "Will do!"
Medbay was a sorry sight. Stressed, overworked doctors ran between ORs and the chem lab, desperately trying to keep the overwhelming tide of injured marines from growing. Gregory strolled up to the nearest doctor and tapped him on the shoulder with a massive grin. "Well hi! I'm Gregory! Can you point me to the ship's Chief Medical Officer? I ne-" "He's dead." "Alrighty then!" Gregory tapped his headset, tuning into the command frequency. "Commander! I've got great news! I'm in the medbay! Unfortunately, the Chief Medical Officer is dead. Should I assume medical duties?" "Yes, Gregory. Dammit!" Gregory got to work. He secured medical equipment and started scanning marines. "Wow! All of Charlie squad is here!" "Sh-shut up... Gregory." "Can do!" Gregory worked in... near silence, occasionally whistling to himself as he worked, becoming quiet
scatting as he started surgery. "Man, I always forget just how squishy you humans are! You really do have so many soft parts in you!"
As the tide of wounded marines started to abate, the Commander staggered bleeding into the medbay and collapsed onto a bed. "Commander! You seem to be injured! Do you need help?" Gregory queried. "I'm fine..." breathed the commander as he started to cough up blood. "Gregory. Communications are down. I need you to restore them." gasped the Commander, as another doctor sprinted over to take him into surgery. "Can do, commander! I'll be right back when I've repaired the comms relay!" Gregory stopped by cargo bay to pick up some tools for repair and made his way to comms.
Comms itself was fairly unaffected, apart from the big hole in the APC. "Well, that looks easy enough!" He pulled out his tools and started to repair the affected areas, whistling cheerily to himself. Just as he was placing the power cell into the APC, he felt a strange sensation go through his neck. What was that? "Wow! This feels funny! Huh... something just hit my head! Why is everything on the side? Hey, who are you?" he spouted rapidly. The UPP saboteur was still on site, and had removed Gregory's head with a machete. "Commander! I have great news! Comms have been restored!" "Good work Gregory. Return to medbay immediately. "Well, about that Commander. The saboteur has removed my head! It's okay though! I'll stay here and wait for a marine!"
The saboteur tapped his headset, and spoke something in Russian that Gregory's profanity filter prevents him from repeating, and fled. The assault had been repulsed. "Well! Time to wait for the engineering team to clean me up! ...Shabee dooba padaaaaa..." Gregory resumed his scatting, as if nothing had gone wrong.
How do you intend to play your Synth (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your Synth and what support roles you’ll mainly focus on, what is your synthetics quirk)?
Gregory will be happy, upbeat, and eager to please, even in dire situations. As the story suggests, his happiness can come across a little morbid sometimes. Kind of like Yes Man from Fallout New Vegas without obeying everyone and everything, or a less annoying version of Claptrap from Borderlands. I'll be mostly playing him in Medical and Science, but given his personality, he'd instantly switch to any role if it was even suggested it would help.
How familiar are you with support roles? (ie; Medical, MT, Science, SO)
I am very familiar with medical, science, Overwatch, and Cargo. Engineering is my weakest, and I do occasionally need my guide open when I'm repairing the generators. Mostly late at night when I'm sleep deprived.
Why should we whitelist you?
I've been around for a while, play regularly, and I play on the ship fairly often. I'm also on a lot in low pop Australian hours when we generally are lacking in key shipside players (it is fairly common to go rounds without doctors, cargo, only one person on the CIC, MTs, etc.), so having a synthetic player around would help.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
Not in the last month.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
Paradise, Perma. I made fun of furries in OOC. "The difference between Tajarans and Vulpakins is that Tajs have been around for a long time and have lore. Vulps were introduced by a fox fetishist."
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or the Synthetic Programming Guideline?
Yes, obviously.
