The Commander turned around as he heard the CIC doors open and close. The operation had been a resounding success with minimal casualties, and even some insurgent prisoners were taken in. He saw Walther walk in with his usual fast pace, halting in front of the commander.
"Commander, my duties in medbay are complete. Do you have any further orders?", Walther asked.
"Not yet, waiting for the report from Chief Engineer. How was the situation with casualties and medical?", the commander replied.
"Marine casualties were overestimated in planning. Remaining injuries are being treated by the medical staff, permanently crippled and dead marines total to four.", Walther stated calmly.
"Excellent. How about the prisoners?"
"Five out of six prisoners in need of medical attention survived with no permanent loss of function. The last one suffered blunt trauma on various bodyparts and was deemed to have died of extreme pain, due to ruptured lungs causing failure with anesthetic and moderate painkillers keeping him conscious to feel the pulp of his muscles and organs where nerves were not burned to permanently give signals of intense pain. The death took approximately thirty minutes from injury to loss of brain function.", noted Walther with chillingly dissonant serenity.
The commander grimaced a bit before replying: "Er, thank you, Walther. See that the executive gets a list of names of the dead and crippled. Military police will handle the surviving prisoners."
Walther nodded and smiled cheerfully.
The commander frowned: "Engineering is taking its time with the report. Go see what's taking so long and help if necessary.", he said while turning to his monitors.
Walther nodded, turned, and left in a brisk pace.
Arriving to Engineering, Walther found the Chief Engineer fiddling with upper deck power storage: Noticing movement, he was startled until realizing who his visitor was.
"Oh, just you. It gets a bit quiet here at times.", he said. "This about the report CO asked? It's coming as soon as my tech is done with the reactors. Speaking of which, he should've reported in by now..."
The Chief Engineer pressed a few more buttons and headed for the ladder, Walther in tow.
"Tom, what the hell is taking so long? Come in!"
Engineering radio channel was quiet in response.
Walking towards the airlock, the Chief Engineer muttered on about lazy techs and the good old times. Then he opened the reactor room airlock, and the limp body of the technician fell on top of his feet.
Immediately, Walther knelt down and noticed he was still breathing.
"No obvious damage, possible radiation, tissue damage and organ failure may already be setting in. Need immediate treatment.", said Walther in slightly more rapid monotone than usual while dragging the unfortunate technician out of the chamber.
"Medical, one casualty, engineering, possible severe radiation poisoning. Administering first aid here, insufficient treatment supplies. Send a doctor.", Walther duly stated into his headset. The Chief Engineer had realized the need for the medkit and left to pick it up and returned as Walther finished his request to medical.
"How bad?", the Chief Engineer asked.
"Unsure.", replied Walther, starting a scan on the technician while the Chief Engineering looked over his shoulder.
The scan finished with a ping. Walther frowned: "Bad."
How do you intend to play your Synth (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your Synth and what support roles you’ll mainly focus on, what is your synthetics quirk)?
My intentions for Walther are to play mostly Medical as primary and Engineering as secondary supports. For acting/quirk, Walther will have a tendency to bring up the fragility/mortality of humans more often than necessary, in uncomfortable ways ("I recommend using a radiation suit while working with the Reactors. An error with the system could result in gruesome death by radiation poisoning over the course of several agonizing days of organ failure."). I also plan on talking briefly unless required, and occasionally interjecting into discussions with said morbid comments.
How familiar are you with support roles? (ie; Medical, MT, Science, SO)
Support is my most played role, with least played out of the 4 mentioned being Science.
Why should we whitelist you?
I believe I would make a decent synth at worst. Synths are also fantastic in the low-pop timezones I frequent and not too common there.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
Not in the last month. One appealed CMO ban from earlier this year, appeal passed a month ago.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
No.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or the Synthetic Programming Guideline?
That's the reason for the whitelist system, so, yes.
