Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): I'd like to start off this appeal not with an apology but with a question to how it was implemented. The ban reason doesn't mention what I specifically did, and nor was I given proof on the metacommunications when requested. That request led to a forum ban from Feweh. My ban is in relation to previous staff, and I understand it may be an issue to clarify or prove much of my points.

To start things off. When I was banned from the server, It was over one of the daily memes at the time. That accidentally got two other people banned with me, that were doing the exact same Chad meme. I understand that both were unbanned, and the one that I was apparently metacomming with at the time. I remember one of the other chads as NoShamNoWow. An old friend I met a while back on this server. Yes I will admit the idea of being chads came across both our minds at the time, and we talked over it. Out of the game to be specific. And yes I will admit I've used third party comms with friends to play the server, but that's less to gain an advantage and more to enjoy the game and crack jokes or vent on the usual BS.

I could understand the Metacommunications part, but the don't be a dick rule caught me by surprise. I was far from hostile and confrontational when playing. I cracked a few jokes, made a few remarks, and did my part helping marines and killing Aliens as the character. I may have insulted a few people that made annoyed remarks on the part of the character I was playing at the time. But in no way I went out of my way to abuse other players and make it an excuse that my character was better then anyone. The chad was to be used as a one time character for a singular round. When I was bwoinked by staff, I didn't throw any insults, and when I asked why I was being banned I was just told by Kavlo "Apop has had enough"

I've been banned several times, and for several reasons, but each ban previously I knew why I was banned, and so forth. This recent set of bans Server and forum were more of a slap in the face with a paper labeled 'figure it our for yourself'

As a squad marine, knifed an MP who had thrown two flashbangs in briefing. The MP was in riot gear and had a shotgun with him, so Skycave assumed he was a griefer (Which he seemed to be. Or he may have been an MP rule ignorant newbie defending himself from being knifed). I told skycave that either way he shouldn't be knifing someone for throwing flashbangs. I'm not saying the ban was unjust. I agree that what I did at the time was quite childish, yet funny. And in when I tried to make previous appeals, it was when the whole severe staff drama was up. I'm not going to promise not breaking any rules, due to mistakes that happen time and time again. I personally don't see this incident as severe as what went down back in 2016 with the entire server rework, and staff incidents that involving a few staff and players. It's a trial and error process I'm gonna need to go through to show a lick of proof.

Well as mentioned I was the one that placed the ban and talked to them before about it. Back in the day you were a bit of a problematic player but we've had worse back then and since then so be careful not to fall into old habits.

To put this plainly I'd be up for having this perma lifted as someone who knew Skycave as a player before the ban and after somewhat.

I don't really recall having many major issues with skycave prior to the perma ban application and it's been a good while since then so i'm pretty alright with having this lifted.

This perma could be lifted, was probably applied as you did the same things the two others did. You just need to go over the server and not to actually communicate outside of the game about the ongoing round.

The kicker to the incident with the other two were, that one guy I had no clue on who he was. I believe he was the guy that played Chad 'Alpha' Mail. I know the second one was someone I played with a lot, that was Sham.

We'll give you a chance under probation but know that continued LRP or griefing actions will result in the perma being reinstated. The exception will only be made for Skycave1 and all other accounts will remain banned.
