Hey pal, don't get mad at Jay. This isn't an unfounded assertion to say on occasion staff have been known to shutter threads that lead to more heated discussions about staff, the server, the forum, etc. A lot of us have seen it happen in real time.

And while I'm at it, nothing's wrong with us. No one's being defensive, either.

I've contacted /r/reddit myself directly, and I'm going to talk with their admins and sort this situation 100% out one way or the other personally myself.

I'll keep this appraised of any major updates, but my goal is to resolve this once and for all, come hell or high water.

I want there to be no doubt left at the end of this, and the truth will be out for everyone to see, come what may.

Feweh using a VPN to tie his accounts to Florida to attempt to later expose himself and try to implicate SLC wouldn't make logical sense.

IF Feweh had the foresight to try to tie the accounts to Florida with a VPN he was well aware of the fact Canadian IP's would show up... which would in turn mean he'd want to post on those accounts using solely a VPN. Unless he got sloppy. But if you're aware of the IP's exposing you, you'd want to scrub the account once you knew it was compromised from sloppiness?

Simply put, with a little investigative work between Slack and Reddit this should clear right up. Some 4D chess on a 2D spessman game here...

There's so far no evidence on the source of any IPs. The only thing I've heard from reddit, is that all the banned accounts (including Feweh's) shared an IP, but not WHICH ip. I'm waiting to hear back from them to try and isolate out either what IP was shared, or the location of the initial IP they were created with, since that's something reddit records.

I've been in contact with Reddit the last week, which has been a bit difficult to do since I deleted Reddit account 2 days before all this went down.
They'll be a post up on Reddit regarding the "proof" and "all fewehs alt accounts" in a few days.

The irony in all of this is the numerous other staff and a select few "Current Managers" who have openly admitted to using Alt Reddit accounts themselves.
Needless to say, you shouldn't believe everything you read just because someone high up states its a fact.

It is typical from someone who is guilty but is unsure on how much can be proved to be evasive and dismissive on the accusations. If they say "I did not do X" and then it was proved then they'd completely lose any remaining shred of credibility. Better not to make claims.

Thus, Feweh is not acting like the outraged innocent he tries to pass himself as. He's just trying to minimize damage. "You shouldn't believe everything you read", please.

When he was in power he sought to completely remove those against him, having not a shred of pity. Even going so far as making a fake account to insult and make fun of someone he banned. Now, when he's down, he's allowed to remain in the community, and he uses the received courtesy to further slander the admins. Sad.

The thing about VPNs and multiple accounts is that, yes, people get sloppy when it becomes a habit, when the alt accounts are used repeatedly instead being one-shot interventions. This happened through a long span of time, which both increases the sense of security of the user, having discovered no consequences, and increases the chances of forgetting to connect or that you are connected to your VPN, for example, or fall in an auto-complete trap.

Long story short: sloppiness is extremely likely. People don't generally expect being caught until they are, and "scrubbing" accounts tends to do little, as login logs are left behind.

I guess I'll toss my two cents on the matter.

I use to look up to Feweh in ways. I thought he was pretty cool and I was eager to be able to try to live up to his expectations when I was picked as Senior Admin. I was genuinely upset to have to see him leave the staff when we had to let him go. He never seemed like a bad guy back then, though I guess you never can really know someone. Feweh hates SLC for some reason, and honestly, I don't even know why. They've had arguments about rules and such, but I don't know the secret reason behind why he's out for SLC.

I really doubt people will believe me just because I hold a reasonably high place in the staff, but I don't have secret information on what's going on. I don't even know what really happened in the whole SLC/Defaultio case after talking to some people who knew about it. I was close to some of the people who were affected by it and I wish the whole debate behind it could be over and we can all just go back to being friends and working on playing a game for fun on some shitty game engine.

For Feweh, I just feel ashamed at this point that I use to look up to someone who's trading all the work and credit he's earned from working as a staff member to just try to cause as much stress and problems as he can. I think it's just sad he's trying to play the victim card when he tanked his own reputation. I don't know if any of the accusations Feweh is making are real or not, but I do know that it's proven that he's been causing a lot of shit not just recently, but over the years as well. My interactions with BMC/SLC make it seem extremely unlikely that there is some ploy from BMC/SLC involving the 16 alt accounts connected to Feweh's name. If there actually is, I'll take it back and apologize if Feweh was framed in some plot-twist that could only come out of some crazy novel.

I'm sure people will just say I'm in bed with the "Framing Feweh" fiasco, but I'm actually not, believe it or not. I'm just some girl who offers my time to the server because I just want to this a place people can just come to relax and have fun. I just want the server to be the best it can be for everyone involved. I really do wish I had my life completed enough to the point I could just spend years trying to frame Feweh to get him removed from some obscure little community where we just play pretend all day. The fact Feweh is trying to drag others down with him because he fucked up is pathetic.

I'm not perfect and Feweh ain't perfect either, but there are lines of reason and I believe that Feweh has passed that line at this point. I just want this whole thing to be over with so we can all be done with this and just work on making CM a better game for years to come.

Makes sense, we had a few of those types on Yogstation when I was an admin there.

They went after the rules first, and then when the rules changed they went after the regulars. The 'minor' rule infractions that everyone does really add up when you're reported.

Back when i was a trial moderator i looked up to feweh quite a bit since he actually kinda saved my ass during a dead zone round where shit went crazy and i had no fucking clue how to deal with it at the time, Having also read through the entirety of the ban appeals ones he handled were always a good laugh through either him demanding shitty MS paints or just being a straight up nice guy sometimes.
I prefer to try and always see the best in people and would love to believe that all of this was done for some good reason and that in two weeks we could all happily forget about this and have everyone back and having fun and getting straight back to being spess muhreens.
But sadly i don't think that's gonna be the case this time so all i really have to say is... Bloody hell, This shit sucks. I'll miss the old ya feweh.

I can't say I enjoyed the constant drama when this was all happening. A bit bitter sweet to see someone like this have 16 accounts. I've never had my intelligence surpassed by someone's account number before.

If anything, it's a mixed bag now that this is over. I don't have any shitposts to make no more, but I'm glad BMC and SLC were able to resolve this and get me unbanned. Late response as ever, but it's not like I could've responded earlier.

I've been inactive for quite a while so coming back to this news is very amusing. I had a public disagreement on reddit with Feweh like a year ago, and my comments were always reasonably upvoted. The moment--the EXACT moment--Feweh responded to me, my posts would take an immediate downvote dive, usually into the negatives. I assumed it was just other members of the CM community all brigading at once, but now I know it was just him manipulating votes. Fucking hilarious.
