He said includes, everything that preceeds "MARINE SPECIFIC RULES", I.E. rules 0.1 to 13, apply.

Just so everyone's aware, it was discussed at length in Staff chat and the majority agreed to have the naming rule moved from Marine Rules to Roleplay Guidelines for the sake of Medium RP, so names like "Hitler" and "Taco Bell" won't be allowed. As of now, this will be the only rule change before Wednesday. I don't plan on changing anything else unless absolutely necessary.

Quick question if we remove all the rules. Are admins going to be looking even harder for reasons to ban or are you genuinely going to let us have fun with it?

We're not removing all the rules, and we're not gonna hunt for reasons to ban. We are legitimately trying to ease up on some of the more specific, strict rules like ID and the like, but if you grief make no mistake we will bean the shit out of you.

Note, this is not a purge round where you are free to greif at will. This is to ease off what might be unnecessary rules for marines and xenos. Do not look at this as a free pass for killing those you don't like. You will get banned for grief like any other day.

Now here's a question with most of the rules going, self antaging for liasons is one of them. Does that mean that should you encounter an.....uncooperative survivor from the colony. You as the CL could help him have an 'Accident'? And would that now fall under marine law rather than a CL Job ban and griefing ban.

I think with most self-generated antag stuff it's safe to ahelp before you pull it off, just so the admins know/agree with your idea and won't ping you for murdering a guy seemingly at random. FF logs aren't all that descriptive of the context.

First example would be judged according to rule 0. Pretty sure all the holes will be fixed with that one

In my mind this is not griefing since the CL is technically an antag and the murder is an RP reason. The CL is still subject to Marine Law if he/she is caught, however. Other Admins might not see it this way, so you may want to Ahelp it just in case.

I see, so whereas regular antag rules will be given to marines to prevent "CLF bombing cause my marine is a terrorist" The CL will be granted more leeway in the realms and reasons of Protecting the company from threats. But generally ahelp first?

Griefing is defined as "without any roleplay reason". So long as Roleplay Guidelines and other General Rules are adhered to, the CL is more free to be like the asshole Carter Burke in the movie if they want. Going that route might mean a short round for them. That's up for the player to decide.

I've read over the special day thing and was wondering if I would I be able to force my squad to follow me into the chapel, before briefing, where we all would start praying at the church? My squad would worship Grabthar as our deity and then I'd force them to stay listening or join-in as we do a squad reenactment of the battle for Grabthar's Hammer?

Roleplay guidelines are still in effect. Your squad doesn't have to listen to you either

Medics could remove shrapnel/bullets and maybe fix fractures with that miraculous bonegel and IB with fix o veins, but that's about it.

Also, I think Peridaxon should permanently heal _minor_ organ damage in addition to its current organ damage suppressing properties: 5 units of damage or less. If the patient has more damage than this to the organ, it doesn't repair it at all.

I think general rules day was a great success; we had much more flexibility without complete anarchy or Low RP.

Overall I think it made the point that CM has far too many rules and far too much micromanagement of play as is.
