Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Per title
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): I'm dying to know what's on those data disks planet side, and he only laptop that's around has no chance of being used. More MPs can do their jobs. Simply no reason other than seeing what is on those data disks or calling a distress beacon/ERT while the Bridge is out of service.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): per title. Bring back laptops and laptop venders but in a limited amount similar to other venders.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):

Bring Back Laptops
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Re: Bring Back Laptops
They caused a lot of problems, so if they're fixed I hope they come back much later and after some major bugfixes.
Neutral, I could not really care less about laptops.

Re: Bring Back Laptops
+1 I like to use laptop as a CL for roleplay reasons. Also the laptop is a useful tool for the CO/XO so he can move around and give orders throughout the ship incase the Sulaco bridge is compromised by using the cameras the laptop has access to. Instead of a vender maybe equip a portable laptop in CL and CO office?

The fact you can just leave the Bridge and hide somewhere while making lewd or otherwise hooligan comments on the Command Announcements is terrifying...Fitchace wrote:+1 I like to use laptop as a CL for roleplay reasons. Having personal computers over laptops would fit me better. I always prefered CM as an old 90 EDIT: 70's~ kind of old-tech sci-fi rather than an high-end micro-processor-spam thing.

CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.
