[Engineer] Tiles

Post by Swagile » 30 Jan 2017, 13:30

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Allow floor tiles to be recycled 4 at a time for 1 metal.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Makes it so you can recycle tiles as a combat engi planetside for metal instead of depending on Req who usually spends it on more important things like mines / beacon crates.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): A stack of 4 tiles should be either welderable or wrenchable into 1 metal.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Coding.

Nope, tried it. Couldn't do it with a wrench, or a welder.

I ahelped it and basically got told it wasn't a thing, hence the suggestion.

Ah, yeah, I meant doing it with tools.

You can do this with racks (wrench), tables (double wrench), etc. but tiles you can't seem to do so, hence my suggestion. Autolathe takes almost EVERYTHING metal, so *shrug.

It can be nice. Engies lack of supplies often enough and it can help it a bit.
