[Ice Colony] Facehuggers
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Make it so Facehuggers have the same properties of Coifs, aka protect you from the cold.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Stops the loophole of "harming nested hosts" as the environment itself is constantly damaging you + slowing you down. Plus makes it less of an easy 1 minute of free burn damage + taking off the hugger itself from a marine if they don't use the "pull up then bayonet" method.

Aren't facehuggers supposed to supply oxygen and other life support functions to keep the host alive? This would make perfect sense to me.

I dunno about this one. I don't think realistically (well lore wise realistically) that a facehugger would be radiating enough heat to combat frostbite.

Well, we have to balance gameplay and lore, and I don't see this making any sense lorewise, and I wouldn't really see a huge gameplay difference coming out of this, but I could see players purposefully wearing huggers if they lose their coif.
As for the rules loophole, there really isn't one. Xenos can't slash or acid nested Marines. If a marine doesn't have a coif and is getting harmed by the environment, that's not a rule break or loophole.
All in all, I personally gotta go -1, but it's up to the devs.

Hold coif in hand, double click the alien in mask slot. It'll put on the coif immediately and take off the hugger as well.
And for the record, you shouldn't take cold damage while a hugger is on. The icon still pops as cold but it should protect you.

+1, this is technically a loophole, you aren't supposed to harm nested and infected hosts, but because you hugged them, brought to a nest and placed them there, they are away from their coif, so when the hugger dies, they start to get damaged, which may lead to paincrit and slowed down speed so...
