Re: EoRG Message
Interesting idea. I believe this will be of great help for the staff, preventing plenty of Players from getting banned for their stupidity. Whatever It happens, we would need to make changes to the rules to see how this could be implemented If approved. It May sounds easy, yet, we must have another etiquette regarding EORG If this actually, happens.
Besides, In our rules segment, It clearly shows our tolerance towards EORG. Which Is Shown In bright red. I find It much hard for one player whose already read our rules to practice EORG.

I feel like a lot of new players might get turned off of the server because they don't realize how heavily this is enforced.

+1. If only to give people enough rope to hang themselves with.
Troublesome, as usual.

I'll give it a +1, but rather than saying "Don't EORG" actually say something similar to: A victory well earned, but it doesn't mean you can shoot your friends! Stay safe out there.
Something like that, would be friendly, nice to read and warn the players not to EORG in an indirect way.

CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Re: EoRG Message
That would be a nice compromise but I think it needs to be slightly more harsh, so they know that the admins will be on their case if they do and to add to the "vietnam in spess" vibe. A threat from HC or something.Sarah_U. wrote:I'll give it a +1, but rather than saying "Don't EORG" actually say something similar to: A victory well earned, but it doesn't mean you can shoot your friends! Re: EoRG Message
Why don't we simply make guns unable to fire after round end? Or make mobs invincible, or make bullets not register hits, etc...

Re: EoRG Message
It'd lock-out all weaponry for antag or post-victory combat related to antags, additionally it'd require not only for admins to pause the round as they usually do, but also to remove the invincibility or whatever as to re-enable IBs to kill the marines or for Deathsquads to do their damn job for once (STOP DYING TO SLIP-NADES YOU FOOLS!)phil235 wrote:Why don't we simply make guns unable to fire after round end? Re: EoRG Message
Why not. In the meantime I may start saying over OOC as the round is ending to not EORG.

Re: EoRG Message
just make it where if you cause harm to another player after the round ends, you get a nice big message
