Re: Slashing disabled on hosts being huggered
There is a rule against suggesting stuff about hugger combat, and I think this has been denied previously.

I think this would make sense in terms of Alien Lore. In a comic there were these workers that were infected with larvas, but due to some mutation in their body, the larva wouldn't burst out, and just stay in their body. And because these workers had larvas in their bodies, Xenos wouldn't attack them, making the workers practically invincible in some way.

I never understood that. Did the larvae develop at all? Did the workers die?WD-Andrew wrote:I think this would make sense in terms of Alien Lore. You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Basically, the larvas inside the workers, rather than developing and bursting out of their chest, would stay in a cryo-sleep-like state, meaning it would never burst out. The aliens didn't attack them and Facehuggers wouldn't jump at their faces.Crab_Spider wrote:I never understood that. Did the larvae develop at all? Did the workers die?
