Damage Control System

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): The ship will be fitted with a damage control system, which will attempt to manage and fix breaches to the ship. It will do this by deploying a metal foam filler in the breach, and than attempt to restore pressure and oxygen to the room. Aliens can still tear this down, due to the nature of metal foam.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Lord atmospherics will not be as powerful to bring hell down the heathens marines. Rooms will potentially remain habitable, allowing for engineering crews to make a temporary fix if xeno threat is not something along the lines "THEY'RE BREACHING THE SELD DESTRUCT GAHG HELP US."

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):To be honest, I have no clear cut plan or idea, but I would like to put this out; Due to the fact that most breaches are from the shuttle, and the damage to the hull and systems in that area is usually total, perhaps add in a percentage chance for it to deploy, as in the Damage control system's capacity to function in that area was damaged beyond function.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Add in a script that recognizes breaches and than deploys a metal foam to fill the breach.

Mods/admins are that tool. It'd be neat if breaching was an IC thing, but when it's bannable...

Its kinda funny cause i've witnessed atleast 5 instances of the ship being breached and it was never fixed at all.

I think a way to code this would be if an outer hull wall or ultra-reinforced window is destroyed, a chem grenade of metal foam goes off.

I've made a suggestion about this before. Apparently breaches from the dropships are an IC issue and therefore will have to be dealt IC, or so I recall.
