Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Make it so heavy armor increase flame resistance (Or so, more).
Make it so heavy armor deflects or blocks entirely a large quantity of the thrown objects directed at the wielder.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
Makes sense, you couldn't pierce yautja alloys with a meager knife and even less so stick it inside his/her lungs.
Generally a nice incentive to take this cursed armor which doesn't grant extra protection to your other vital areas.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
As per summary.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):

CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Neutral. personally I like the heavy armor, but I agree it's strange that a throwing knife can pierce through the heavy PLATED armor like it's butter.

Re: [Predator] Heavy Armor buff
From my own experiences regarding heavy armour, it seems to do the desired job fairly well (barring a strange vulnerability to thrown objects). And flame-related weapons are, generally speaking, the way to counter heavily armoured infantry-type things.
I'll give a +1 to throwing weapon resistance and remain neutral about the rest. Perhaps an acceptable option would be to give the Yautja heavily armoured boots/legs as well. (Cue ranting about lack of B18 boots.)

The speed debuff it gives you means you'll probably need the increased armor more than before from my experience. +1
