Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):the new sound pitch just sucks, you can hear someone shooting three screens away like if it was right beside you, and you can't tell where is it coming from. Just bring the previous sound pitch back, it was way more realistic.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Immershun and such, making the sound more realistic

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):everything was wrintten above

+1. At the moment, the sound system barrages you with sound without a way of reliably telling you how far it is or WHERE it is. The where part is probably the worst, especially when you're in the Almayer.

I'm all for a new sound system, but it should be implemented when the kinks are worked out.

At least reducing hear distance will be already good. Make it 1.5 screens. It will be enough.

I was thinking i was getting so bad with the headphones that i had a super hard time telling where anything was anymore...

Last I checked it still seemed a little bit off to me, though it was better than it was originally, gunfire just seems to be heard from a bit too far away, explosions and such are fine though, perhaps simply tone down the gunfire? I'll have to think on it more, it may just need getting used too.
