Make users of the X-13 Apesuit immune to tackles

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): While hilarious that W-Y Commandos get shredded by tacklespam, it gets old fast and makes the Deathsquad less about giving death to everything and more about giving death to themselves.

I propose making anyone wearing the X-13 Apesuit that Commandos wear immune to tackles, so that xenos have to find other ways of killing them, and making the Deathsquad feared again.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Allow the Deathsquad to perform it's primary functions, Makes Deathsquads feared by humans and xenos alike oncemore.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Not sure, though I'm sure it's possible with enough code magic.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): See above.

Deathsquad should be inmune to pouncing, not tackles. Pouncing makes them useless, not tackles.

I would agree if it wasnt wasn't so easy to tackle everytime plus theres usually more than one tackling and slashing.

Deathsquads in wild SS13 are spec-ops with guns and mechs with grenade launchers attached to them, as well as the deathsquad armor being quite stronk, they get weapons and stuff that can turn the station to a puddle of dust.

CM deathsquad definetely need an improvement on the xenos side, let's be fair, a predalien can EASILY take out 1-2 DS members, possibly even more due to it's stun on tackle being the LONGEST i've ever seen.

This is a HUGE buff, especially since Death Squad members are given gear that is very powerful. These are humans in gear designed to resist facehugged and heavy amounts of ballistic force. If you died because of tacklespam, then maybe get that reduced rather than nullified as a whole.

Deathsquads are designed with the possibility of wiping out a xeno hive, these are the actual containment guys when shit hits too many fans.

I'd welcome a huge buff for them, especially as they're fighting both marines and xenos at the same time.

Except these suits are still experimental, in Civil War (that god awful comic that involved the Red Xenomorphs), MOST OF THE FUCKING MARINES SENT TO THE XENOMORPH PRIME WERE WIPED OUT AND ONE OF THOSE MARINES WERE BEHEADED. There's a difference between "designed to wipe out entire Hives" (btw these guys had pulse rifles, ones loaded with armor piercing explosive tipped ammunition, which was established to make short work of XX121) and "designed to withstand the power of an entire Hive". One describes the firepower, and the other describes the durability. Two very different things.

if you want to make this death squad very dangerous, simply buffing their suits and equipment is a fair shortcut, but if theyre really "designed to wipe out/withstand entire hives" they should be white-blooded pain-immune combat synths in war exosuits and shit

Just start small with removing tackles from deathsquad.

Combat synths would be nice, though an entire squad of military exosuits would wipe out the universe.

+1, it's not like deathsquads are frequently spawned anyways. And the method of taking out the deathsquad as described is quite cheesy.
