Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Give the predators items to deploy or an ability to spawn said items that promote CQC and other form of close-quarter combat.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
This will allow for predators to sneakily drop weapons such as swords and knives around the colony, making some marines hold onto these items and making them more worthwhile preys and shows for people.
This will allow for less ranged combat, which often results in marines being salty due to not understanding the danger it pose to em'.
This will overal promote a bigger emphasis on tracking down specific preys and give the chance to marines to prove themselves further to predator-players.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
I have two ideas in mind, one is requiring beacons/spawns/scripted possitions which will require a lil' bit of coding and the other purely requires mapping to some extent.
A) Spawns are added to each maps, allowing for predators to launch crates/items on the colonies/planets for survivors and/or marines fighting on it.
Optionally, the weapons are randomized and ranged from spears which can be thrown, to knives, to swords. The bare minimum is that they're proper melee weapons.
B) Weapons, randomized or not, are spawned amongst the predator ship. They're all human-weapons and allows for the predators to pick them up to spread them around the colony or to offer during a duel.
Overal, this method requires much less coding and appears less wasteful, without the benefit to survivors.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Descripted partly above. A button or verb could allow for preds to spawn option A.
PS: I know it would be like wizards spawning guns around the station for option A, but overal, this idea would still be viable due to how marines wouldn't quite have a way to tell who dropped them here.
If anything, they'd be metagaming the information, which in itself wouldn't be such a great deal unless they began pred-hunting for no reasons (But again, allows to cull out metagamers in some way).

[Yautja] Preparative deployment
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Re: [Yautja] Preparative deployment
I think it'd be interesting to see, considering that this is supported fluffwise and might encourage melee fighting. +1, so long as nothing too powerful like the KATANA is available to drop.

Would be pretty cool to have, +1. I'd support seeing this ingame.

I didn't mention it, but having 1-2 restraints would also be cool. Although we already discussed capture and how un-popular it is with some players. (Somehow)

Re: [Yautja] Preparative deployment
As an actual whitelisted player now, I'd suggest making more of those human broadswords we see in the predator ship so that we can give them to people without proper melee weapons.
