Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Lately nesting has become Not Fun for both parties, with humans often having no chance to escape because they're super easily paincritted, and xenos often having their hosts die on them halfway through being infested. A passive heal or painkiller seeping into the humans from the resin in the nest would likely make nesting more fun for both sides.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
Xenos don't get hosts dying after being infested so often.
Humans get more of a chance to break out.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Rationalize the nests as having some sort of soothing or healing chemical that helps humans live longer / stay calmer so that they can be infested.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Lore, code
Make being nested heal you, or dampen pain

While I agree that nesting currently is crappy for mainly the human side and a bit for the xeno side, this isn't the way to approach the issue in my opinion. -1

I think it's more fun to be in the nest than guarding it.

This used to happen with nests before, just led to xenos constantly pain-critting everyone (they still try sometimes) and then having easy time guarding

Re: Make being nested heal you, or dampen pain
This would lead to too many issues to be possible with the current framework of how nests work, honestly
First of all, you could abuse nest healing to paincrit hosts. While this is a rule abuse to attack nested and infected hosts, we don't want Xenos intentionally slashing the shit out of hosts before nesting them just because "the nest will keep them alive". There has to be a clear balance between keeping the human alive but making him dangerous if he resists, or breaking him apart but risking losing the larva to a bleedout death
Second, it would be complicated to do right and risks turning nests into ghetto cryo cells
Third, this would be virtually useless in shaking up current nest meta. Checkerboard hives are used because they are safe, space-efficient, confusing to humans trapped within, easy to guard and hard to coordinate uprisings in. A checkerboard hive would completely nullify the bonus of humans getting healed in nests
I could consider "host healing" as a way for Xenos to save infected hosts that got absolutely thrashed during capture, or in extreme cases nests stabilizing to prevent bleedout without overtly healing, but I'm not for making it automatic. Maybe a pheromone ? Or maybe some sort of manual interaction

No. Xenos have tackle and pounce spam to capture harmlessly already - if they slash up a host they want to capture for the purpose of paincrit of just in general, that's on them and a risk they should have to take. The only form I'd accept this is if it only stabilized ballistic wounds (for example, the marines shoot a fellow marine being dragged off to deny xenos a larva) but I'm not sure that would be easy (or even possible, since I'm not a BYOND dev) to code.
