Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): As of right now, cargo technicians have access to the RO's office, this should be changed so that only the RO haves access to his office.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Would give the RO a chance to hack his own console and not have his pesky technicians ordering 69 crates of black market gunz. Also, it's his damn office, why do others have access to it?
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): as per summary
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): DEW IT. Change the access anakin, DEW IT!
ROs office is the ROs office.

The only issue is with low pop if I get selected as CT with no RO I no longer have access to his stamps without destroying property.

Yeah, I don't think this is neccessary, because stamp is needed no matter if RO present or not. Also, there isn't something so valuable in that office, that it needs a protection.

Re: ROs office is the ROs office.
Similar suggestion could be applied towards engineers having access to the CE's office.
-1 though. Three reasons, one already stated. First is that the stamp is needed for when the RO's not around. Second is that ICwise it makes sense to be able to access you boss's office if you need to deliver stuff into it or talk to him at the desk or something like that. Third, ICwise and relating to Marine Law, is that the RO and CE are command staff, so they don't need to lock people out behind access if they want to kick someone out; they can simply declare the area restricted ("Trespassing: Unauthorized access of an area restricted by Command personnel..."). If there was something like a CT/MT's office and someone else had access to it, they couldn't kick them out.

Not a dev but honestly would be cool if any head really (CMO,CE,RO,CMP) can choose when to id lock their office and have it off by default. So you don't run into issues with lowpop but a head can keep their privacy or keep out their subordinates when they feel the need for it.

+1 for this. Good suggestion and it will not create an access issue with low pop rounds.TheSpoonyCroy wrote:Not a dev but honestly would be cool if any head really (CMO,CE,RO,CMP) can choose when to id lock their office and have it off by default.
