Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): nanomeds are lacking one basic ingredient to have the proper complement of basic lifesaving equipments, splints. they arent even fancy chemicals like tricord. this is a significant health and safety oversight

+1 to the splints tho. Even if people were to restock them and what not its not like splints are something so powerful or even something people run out of enough that its a problem in my eyes.
