Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): consider adding some pockets of hostile (but not too tough) wild animals on outdoor maps that can accommodate them
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
-its a classic move in fiction to have something threaten characters and for that something to be demolished by the true threat
-more enjoyment/challenge/training bringing them in to be facehugged as alien before the humans land for the main event
-marines will have a real reason to kill them rather than conveniently suddenly developing a hatred of monkeys
-predators can enjoy hunting them, if there are any left
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
i have dug thru the avp wiki looking for decent candidates and examples as featured in other aliens-related materials

http://avp.wikia.com/wiki/LV-1201_Chameleon
http://avp.wikia.com/wiki/Gro%27tye
http://avp.wikia.com/wiki/Briar_Wolf
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): i dont know what resources are present in the code youre using, but goonstation has fantastic hostile npc human/self-defending lab monkey code so their coders would be the first people i would talk to for advice. as these creatures are intended to be facehuggable, using simplistic mobs for them(such as seen ingame in the mouse, corgi, cow, etc) would not do, monkeys make a good base. any such creatures would also require various sprites too, i could try to help with that if you wanted :3

Re: hostile, non-monkey wildlife
Would be cool have the Briar wolfs in the LV map but it would make more dificult for the survivors to survive.
