Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): RP Potential, right now there isn't much reason to reward badasses other than a pat on the back.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):A box of medals that contain some medals, obviously not big ones like medal of honors or purple hearts but the lesser awards that can be given out.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): In traditional servers, the captains office has medals. Rename those, and perhaps add some sprites for specific medals.

Well a Purple Heart is issued to everyone injured or killed in a battle, so it might work, but there'd have to be a lot of them, and it might not even be worth it with how many that'd have to be given out...

That said, medals are definitely a good idea, big +1 from me.

Yeah we had a medal box, it was standard ss13 one, we never really used it tho

Yeah, we had this in once, and noone really did anything with it. Since it takes up the attachment slot on clothing, we just decided to not use it so people didn't have to choose between their medal and their harness or webbing.

Re-add medals they were great for rewarding that poor marine who was left alone and had to fend for themselves and escape.

A nice thing might be to have the commander spawn with a medal box like they use to but with two blank (Blank as in without a name) medals also included which the commander can name to what they deem appropriate for what was achieved, once a medal is named the medal name can only be changed by the commander, or perhaps you can't change the name at all after naming it.

Like a medal who's name would be consistent through rounds? That'd be a super dope idea; you know there'd be the "Wooki" award given away to any player who could do something exceptionally robust.
