Red light from flares

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Instead of normal white light, flares should produce red tinted light, like real red flares do.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
Red flares are more visually distinct, cooler looking, and more realistic. They give areas lit up by them a more eerie look, in line with the new alien aesthetic.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
None, it's a pretty simple suggestion.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Rewrite the flare code using red text. :p

+1 Would be cool, but I imagine it might conflict with current lighting. But in the end, light is light

If I remember correctly, this isn't really feasible with our current lighting system. When we get one that can better handle colors, the flares will be red, the (new) flashlights will be blue, and the floodlights will be quartz.

If ya want realism ok. I already saw this on SS13, and it hurt your eyes. Really. But it's still like real life, you can also add chemlight.

Tentative +1. As others have said, it supports that darker atmosphere that the server is heading towards. My only concern is because my own eyes are dumb and don't like red lights.

Currently and for the foreseeable future will be impossible. Our lighting system is several years out of date and we can't use the newer bay ones on our current license so this aint happening.

Isn't it possible to adapt and modify it such that it's sufficiently different to be consistent with the license?

That doesn't seem like a good thing to do.

That's basically saying changing one part of the code allows us to use the rest of it or changing one variable name lets us use it. I think this has heavily to do with if they wish to use their lighting system, CM has to become open-sourced for that to be possible.

+1 for the idea though if it can be implemented.
