Dropship/pod viewable timer
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): A simple timer that ticks down the time to refuel the dropship/pod after each movement.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): As is, there is nothing more annoying then having to guess when the shuttle is ready to launch, at least for me. You are always told to wait 2 minutes between deployments, but depending on the situation, you don't know quite WHEN it is ready. Maybe it is lag causing the clock to be longer, maybe someone launched it before without telling you and you clicked it when it wasn't ready, leaving the shuttle down below longer than you'd want it to, and so on.. I myself believe that keeping the shuttle constantly moving at a steady schedule is a good habit to have, since there are always more marines waking up waiting for deployment, and keeping the ship planetside for no reason is not a good idea.
With this, we'd also have less marines bitching at command, because then they'd know why the ship is not launching despite all their screaming.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Really, it is just a simple little timer that counts down to 0 between activations on the dropship/pod popup menu. The moment the shuttle reaches it's LZ, then the clock starts up at 2 minutes (or whatever time it takes to refuel) and ticks down to 0. Anyone with access to the menu will be able to tell just when the ship will be ready to deploy again, without having to guess anymore, due to the way Byond handles timers.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Just add a little timer in the dropship/pod popup menu that activates when the ship or pod lands. I'm not sure how hard it would be, but it shouldn't be too complicated... Right?

+1 honestly this same system is used for the cargo ship,so this would be pretty easy to port over.
Tired of marines screaming like children when the pod/shuttle is still refueling

I'm bumping this because I'm an arsehole and I'm tired of not knowing just WHEN a ship is ready to launch.

+1 Would be great if it had a wall-mounted display timer mounted in the Hangar (Similar to the configurable one around Sulaco that command usually sets the time on)

+1 for all transit consoles having it.
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Re: Dropship/pod viewable timer
Considering byond seconds are longer than normal seconds, and lag can make them stretch even longer (from my understanding of Byond at least), +1 to this suggestion.
