Nanopaste is a no-no. The anchors thing would be pushing it because to root yourself in place would require hydraulics that aren't very usable in a mobile form, unless you add an exo-skeleton ontop of the b18

Nanopaste is no longer necessary with the research update.

To refine my opinion, giving the b18 this treatment would give an amazing flavorful feel as well as make it a good gameplay impact. it may need nerfs further down the line, but id rather see it launch and sink, then never to launch at all.

This suit makes me feel like were....
(Also, off topic, but in this clip, theres some m-16s being carried by the marines, anyone know what they are in lore?)

*But, i can see this suit as being a little too 'out-there' for standard spec marines, feeling more like Spartans instead of ODST's. But my god, so much flavor...even if this suit had to be a "W-Y special secret cargo order", i would love to see it in the game.

So here is what I think, the lockdown should have a short delay between deploying and retracting, during this the b-18 would be unable to fire. also this would make a counter to the b-18 be a boiler to keep him from becoming an unstoppable wall sitting in a door way with a smart gun behind him. Also if the chitin plate is added they are basically wearing really slow d's armor. So maybe they shouldn't be able to add that. Other then that it seems pretty good

+1 Holy hell this seems awesome, can we just try it out? If it's too OP just nerf parts as seen fit, all in all it finally makes B18 viable compared to SADAR/Smartgun. Let's just do it and test this shit, it's badass. Can't say anything else that hasn't already been said.

You should make the armor bullet proof resistant, or have a high projectile dodge. Makes sense if you're gonna be a front line trooper the armor would work well against bullets. +1 regardless b18 needs some love.

Yeah, give the armor some of the deflection that Crusher's enjoy so that one AP burst doesn't fuck you over despite the fact that your literally iron man without the cool pulse canon.
