Allow Hivelords to Name tunnels

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): In short, Allow a hivelord to name a tunnel when finishing it, or place a small tag next to its name.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Less 'what does this tunnel lead to? DEATH!' from aliens, And more teamwork with aliens.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Either let them fully rename the tunnel after placing it, Or simply allow them to add a tag ala the handlabeler to it.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Copypaste Handlabeler code or something from pens? Iunno.

+1 but the tunnel's name should only be visible to xenos.

Since when do hivelord make worthwhile tunnels?

I'm on a 20 game streak without using one.

Last night I got put into the body of a hivelord and had 1 at all 4 corners of the map, one at hydro, one at scidome and two other less useful ones, But i had to constnatly explain where they went to the other aliens. even though i laid them out in a coherent fashion

Shift clicking should tell you where a tunnel leads to

Its hard to tell what 4 different 'Weyland Yutani Complex' tunnels lead to.

It probably wouldn't be that hard to make it indicate the nearest dome? Well I don't know, maybe it would be. Having no hair as a marine is how you keep yourself cool in the jungle.

Honestly, even just a number would be more than decent.

Would allow xenos to know which tunnel is what, and thus make them more useful.

I like this idea, but on the rare occasion I play hivelord I use the layout of the tunnel entrances to signify where they go.

The map is a big rectangle, and I use a 3x3 room to put all my tunnel entrances. NW tunnel goes to the NW corner of the map. SE Tunnel leads to near LZ1. Central is probably around hydro.

Point being, while this is helpful a good hivelord can be very clear with their tunnel layout already.

+1, its a pretty common suggestion. the problem is from what i heard last is preventing marines from knowing what the tunnels were named. I dont know if it could just be a right click examine and have only xeno/ghosts be able to see the name.
