If SS13 CM had a scoring system
Have you ever been playing CM in a non-combat role and felt unaccomplished? Ever been a marine that didn't get to kill fuck all? Need something to give you something to work towards?
For shits and giggles, I decided to make a sort of points system for SS13 CM as a way to give people a mental scoreboard and to encourage people when they feel they aren't doing enough to support their side.
Keep in mind, this is how I would design the system. Everyone has their own opinion on what contributes to the team best, but this is how I would reward certain actions.
1: Standards [Grunts] (can apply to majority of marines as well)
1 point for every enemy kill
0.5 points for every assist (helped to kill/finish a target)
1 point for providing basic first aid (use of bandages and cream, as per meta rules) to a wounded marine
1 point for every 5 weed tiles cleared up
1.5 multiplier for keeping together and following your Squad Leader
-1 point for killed/wounded friendlies
2: Squad Engineers
1 point for every repair (machines, robotic limbs) made
1 point for every kill their sentry gets
1 point for every kill their landmines get
1 point for every 5 defense items built/placed
3: Squad Medics
1 point for every wounded marine treated with advanced first aid (does not stack with basic first aid)
1 point for every infection (due to wounds, not aliens) removed
1 point for every dead body safely recovered and sent back to HQ
1 point for every wounded marine safely taken out from the frontlines to a safe location
5 points for every successful revive with a defibrillator
4: Squad Specialist
See Standard/Grunt
5: Squad Leader
1 point for every kill YOUR SQUAD gets
1 point for every successful supply drop recovered
1 bonus point for every kill your OB successfully gets (-2 points for every friendly killed)
1.5 multiplier for keeping your squad together
6: Ship Tech/Chief Engineer
10 points for successfully starting up the engine
1 point for every repair job completed
1 point for every piece of litter picked up
1 point for every floor tile cleaned
7: Cargo Tech/RO
1 point for every marine tended to in the cargo line (bonus point if done quickly)
10 points for quickly dealing with a large group of attachment-hungry marines in a cargo line before briefing starts (must have less than 5 marines still in line before briefing for this to count)
1 point for every supply crate successfully deployed to marines on the ground
1 bonus point for every supply order carried out in under 2 minutes
-5 points for wasting military funding on useless junk
8: Doctor/CMO
1 point for every wounded marine tended to
1 point for every successful surgery (bonus points if done quickly)
1 point for every larva removed during surgery
9: Scientist
1 point for every medical drug made
1 point for every grenade developed (bonus points for every alien killed with your grenade)
1 point for every alien product created
1 point for every research level up
1 point for every clone produced
10: BO
1 point for every kill your SQUAD (or squads, if more than one is overwatched) gets
1 point for every successful kill with an OB
1 point for every supply drop successfully sent
11: XO/CO
1 point for every kill your MARINES (AKA, all troops under your command) get
10 points for winning a battle as CO/XO
12: Corporate Liaison
1 point for every colony asset recovered
1 point for every survivor recovered safely
5 points for every successfully received fax
13: Dropship Pilot
1 point for every successful trip to the planet and back (with 1 point bonus for every marine loaded on board)
14: Military Police
1 point for every law properly enforced
1 point for every fight dealt with
5 points for every fight dealt with peacefully
5 points for successfully keeping one’s cool if a marine attempts to bait them.
-5 points for every time position is abused
-5 points for losing cool and falling for bait from troublesome marines

MPs - +5 for every mistake by a co-worker you correct that gets someone back in the round faster, +1 for every mistake by a co-worker you correct that doesn't effect/increases someone's time out of the round (according to Marine Law).
