You tase them. You don't arrest them unless you feel that it is highly likely that they committed the crime. Maybe you should log out before letting your sister play around with your computer.

2º thing:Get the deck of cards on the cryo room to play blackjack with your other friends. Be a MP after the briefing is boring, this helps a bit.

3º thing: Don't carry or fire lethals, your stun gun is way more powerful than lethal shit. Use only a gun when an alien breaches Sulaco. Don't shoot against marines or you'll get banned.

4º thing:Don't obey the command. You obey marine law and nothing else. If the Commander assaults a marine, you arrest the commander, and not the marine. Don't be a fucking CO slave.

5º thing:The CL is not a freaking antag ok? Leave him alone and don't allow marines to harass him.

6º thing: Riot armor sucks. Don't use it or you'll be slower than a b18 spec.

7º thing: The RO line is sacred. Don't let dumbasses cut the line. Don't let a riot happens because RO is a fascist. RO LINE IS S A C R E D, protect the order there at all costs.

That's pretty much all. Oh, and be robust, If a MP isn't robust, he sucks.

Just a few tips from someone who plays MP every so often,

It was mentioned already above but it is so important I'm saying it again, DON'T BE A CUNT, every marine is a person and you can't just freely yell at them without expecting them to become annoyed at you.

Have this page open at all time, that or carry around a book of marine law on you at all times, you will seriously never know when you'll need to arrest someone.

Sometimes you'll come to a scene where someone has broken into some place or stole something, then you use your forensic scanner which is a odd tool to use, you click on shit and it gives you info if there is info to get, it can really be annoying at times when you are at a crime scene and you find no proper clues like incomplete fingerprints but you MUST be very thorough with your investigation, always try to single out roles like if you find trace of marine armor you know it may not be a doctor, jumpsuits and gloves are nice to find fibers for. Once you've scanned all the stuff go back to the Brig and with the scanner in your hand click on the computer below where you got the scanner. Then you can browse the database to actually see the info you got and work on figuring out who to arrest, a lot of the time you can also use fingerprints which you can figure out they belong to by checking the database at the computer right of the entrance of the brig.

Don't always harm baton, if someone is just running from you for a minor crime like trespassing help intent stun them but if there is someone shooting at someone else or you then harm baton them (tasers also work and intent really doesn't matter in this case).

Remember to recharge and refill your equipment at the brig, last thing you want is to be batoning someone and then the baton runs out of power.

Remember to put on your HUDsunglasses and latex gloves (glasses are in the vendors and gloves in a box near the scanner).

Always take the black gloves that spawn in the MP locker in the bridge.
